Alas I have the aim of a drunken Pharah at 3 in the morning.

 

I love Widow's mines. They're so useless, but you can fling them into the middle of a brawl you're about to wade into and come out with a triple kill for playing Rambo. Honestly, I suck at Widowmaker just cause my favorite part of using her is when I get bored of sniping and just fucking run in guns blazing. I might suck as everyone for that reason. The best way to use characters is to use them to achieve things they are not meant to achieve. See also; reasons why I 1 v 1 Roadhogs, Bastions, and Reapers as Winston.

 

They aren't useless! They tell me when someone has tripped them which is handy because I don't pay attention as her. And like they hurt. And it's useful. Ok. EVEN IF THEY AND BY EXTENSION I AM USELESS.

Though when I do a fine job at sniping I feel very happy.

 

Sibling plays Lucio the way you're supposed to play Winston. Wall-skate into their back lines, Drop the Beat down, boop their Reinhardt out of position, and then zip around song-swapping to make it hard to judge speed and annoying the everloving hell out of them.

 

I like to get Ana in very close to the battle at times. It's actually very useful at times. Because whoever's ass your in is effectively immortal so long as no one goes after you.

 

OH god I just played a comp match against a Lucio like that. Motherfucker was never with his goddamned team, left the Ana to solo heal while he went off behind enemy lines. Died twice trying to cross the Volskaya gap, but pulled off this fantastic little flank on the second point.... that got him nowhere because he's a single Lucio and none of his teammates were there to follow through.

 

On the note of solo Anas I love when I can keep my team up just as well as a Mercy or Lucio by myself.

Because of all those people who said Ana can't solo heal and is therefore useless.

Oh yeh, thems good tactics. Staying back means the fuckers run right the hell out of your sightline, cramming into the tanks armpit makes for an unstoppable juggernaut for as long as it takes for someone to have enough presence of mind to aim for the healer instead of the dude doing damage.

 

There are definitely times when staying back is lovely too. There's this one hidey hole when defending on Temple of Anubis before the fountain that is just. Lovely. Assuming no one sneaks in to flush you out you're safe to heal away. I've had games where we've held that spot so well that the attackers could not get past the fountain.

That discourse just made me want to go "FINE" and write fic where he loses his OTHER arm to spite them.

Has anyone else gotten to see the "Sombra is clearly faking being 30 because she's quirky and looks young" vs "Saying Sombra has to be a child because she's quirky is kinda fucked up" discourse, or is that only me?

 

I haven't seen it, but as soon as I found out she's 30 I figured it was going to exist.

I was mostly confused/amused at it (as is the case with most Discourse for me). Like, she acts like she might have a sense of humor, she can't be 30, the Personality Removal Squad hasn't come for her yet!

(That being said I like the theory that she changed her age to get into bars just bc it's hilarious to me)
