mmm nevermind this might not work completely... holidays are out of whack but other than that its fine.... to accomadate christmas at least, I'd have to switch around my seasons to months thing, but it would put october in winter, which would make halloween wrong so it works for birthdays, lets just pretend holidays are okay
@Imoyram , consider: instead of a linear compression, what if the three months of the season are shuffled together? That is, any important date in any of the three months of the season gets mapped to the day with the same number in the canon calendar? So instead of the three possible days for Vince's birthday being March 28, 29, or 30, they are March 10, April 10, or May 10? Alternately, it's not Christmas, it's the Feast of the Winter Star, and it can be in February if we say it is, so there? Edit: it's an i, I always think it's an l. Especially since both the canon game AND the mod are like "he doesn't open up easily and assumed romance was just not for him" AND HERE I AM FULFILLING THE PROPHECY
Mod I want to see but do not have the skill to make on my own, nor the idea of how to implement it: alternate divorce reconciliation mod where instead of wiping the spouse's mind, you need to set up an impressive or complex feat of your own to prove to them you want them back after all. Like, if you divorce Maru, build every single item in the 'craft' guide and proceed to gift her with a limited amount of batteries and diamonds for a week. Or for Penny, complete the library or the artifact collection and give her like 100 sunflowers. Collect all of the gems for Emily and load her up with 7 prismatic gems. Get 20 chickens to 5 hearts for Shane and give the boy more beer than a Budweiser brewing plant (or alternately, enough coffee to kill the entire town with caffeine heart attacks). Make it an option that sort of mirrors the game's "want to do the easy but painful Jojamart way or the hard but helpful Community way?", make you EARN THAT LOVE BACK HARD as an option. Also, I want to add this is not a slight on Ruevian, this is a logical choice and one that's less painful to the Wizard to just divorce/mindwipe now instead of cheating on him like 12+ times. But a less unfair-option would be pretty awesome! (And the Wizard has a pretty logical one, like kill 250+ of ALL THE MONSTERS or 500 dragons, and also so many bottles of ancient fruit wine or gold-star pomegranates?)
