I'd chip in for it yeah, even though I barely play anymore. Rockbreaker's usually has some of my fave accents tbh, since there's usually at least one nice crystal/gem themed one
i honestly prefer the secondary that i guess isn't available right now? as was already mentioned it looks way too similar to iri, at least on coatls. could be they're trying to come up with a replacement gene for people who'll be upset when iri gets fixed on starter breeds maybe? i dunno, but i'm not sure it's for me edit: poked around in the scrying workshop, and it looks like it's at least not drawing from the same colors as iri is, and i do like that! for reference, here is a coatl with indigo iri first, then indigo metallic
I like it. I was getting sick of iri - it's pretty, but very soft, and the color shift is weird on some colors. This doesn't look like it shifts colors much, which has been in demand for a long time.
I am also glad for a shiny gene that doesn't colorshift! I do think Coatls weren't the best choice of preview for Metallic (though their wings do look stunning in the secondary, the name of which I've already forgotten)-- on other breeds it outlines major muscle groups and emphasizes scale patterns, but 1) Coatls don't have scales and 2) their current poses emphasize their necks and bellies, which don't have a lot of bunched-up musculature (or, again, scutes) to really let Metallic shine like it does on, say, Snappers.

Coatls definitely were the wrong breed to display that gene on. wtf, staff. It looks way better on, say a pearlcatcher: There's a bit of sparkle to it, like on glimmer!
argh I wish we could at least scry Alloy- I wanna know if it's gonna finally be the secondary gene that looks all right on my snop that's wearing the Bamboo Falls accent. Also @cassikat that isn't quite the best comparison- indigo irishim, along with all other new colors, is currently an acknowledged error- all the new colors in irishim are TOO shiny, and the admins have said as much. no idea when it'll be fixed though, rip.
alloy looks better on coatls rn i think because of the way it emphasises each feather and for metalic, dark colors tend to look worse because you don't have enough contrast between the shiny and the shadowed parts. im excited though and i need to re-scry some dergs

Alright, I've given my effort to the dominance push, 36 dragons trained and exalted, but I am tired. Looks like Fire is going to win despite our efforts. I think Water is not exactly the best at gaining dominance XD
Apparently Fire had something like double the dragons recorded for their raffle than Water did. Considering their raffle wasn't particularly amazing compared to Water's, that's really weird. Bad luck, Water guys!
i think it was the "bill's computer" thing that Fire did. they started gathering dragons a week earlier by offering a ton of raffle tickets to use your lair to board dragons until the 6th i ended up sending most of my trained dragons to Water though, because their payouts were higher
