I don't remember any specific rant, just that in her ask-the-improbable-investigators verse Karkat and Caliborn are always ragging on Airbus, and I'm pretty certain there's an epic rant in there if we ever actually asked about it. (And that I'd understand almost none of it, but I do love listening to techies rant ^x^ it is my fav passtime.)
Beldaran ~: It's interesting too to see a lot more from Cloris, since she'd been being referred to as [redacted] for ages, and hints about bite marks having been made before. like if they were demons? i'm afraid i haven't paid close enough attention to asuka's worldbuilding posts and asks to be entirely sure how it all works, it's complicated. but i'm pretty sure bel's price would involve firing a lot of bullets. the smell of cordite and hot brass, and the noise, and the thump of the recoil against your hands.
That AU mixed with boat trolls kinda gives me sadfeels... you can only summon a demon who shares either a class or an aspect with you (unless you invert, which can cause soul damage) and I don't think any of these guys have overlaps. Well, also, in that AU, canon human=summoner, troll=demon. So you'd have to import human OCs for to be summoners. That would fix errything.
Ok a day at the firing range could be his little price but you cant tell me that stupid self-sacrifice wouldnt buy you a hell of a lot from bel. Maybe writing poetry as a secondary price? Would galley's secondary price be porn? Please tell me it'd be porn. Or listening to "my heart will go on" on repeat. His big price would probably end up being something like "boss your way through something that terrifies you. " :((( Lu's price would be keeping sea animals, kinda like feferi's, though a day at the aquarium might pay for little stuff. Erskin would have dual primaries: fight and kill something large with minimal weaponry, and raise a baby animal. Idk about pancho or jethro. :( What are their classpects again?
jethro: rogue of space. probably travel, for him. weekend hiking trip for little stuff, photo trip down the grand canyon in an ultralight for big stuff. pancho, i don't even know, maaaaaybe knight of life? but i reckon for her price you have to make something beautiful out of natural materials and give it away. how much work you put into it is how steep the price is, anything from braiding a bracelet from leather thong, to carving a chess set out of semiprecious stones.
yeah, self-sacrifice could def be part of it. if you can't manage to throw yourself between your best friend and an oncoming truck, you could always donate bone marrow.

... You just noticed this? Whoa. I was reading with the assumption you were cognizant of the parallels & kinda using Jethro's and Bel's POVs to vent. Well, not to vent, more like using the fresh frustration to inform their reactions. Uh. Is that rude of me to bring up? Sorry if that's rude. It's probably because I'm watching both the RP and the IRL drama as a spectator, and also I always assume that authors are superhumanly aware of everything they do because they are sublime creator deities directing the forces of fictional microcosmos & etc.
haha no, it's not rude, i'm actually really amazed i didn't notice before now. but some stuff is hard to see when you're down in it, i guess. also i didn't realize how much the narcissus-and-echo drama on tumblr was getting to me, or i might've noticed sooner that the narcissus-and-echo drama in the rp was paralleling it. i'm sure i was using my feelings to inform my characters' reactions, i just wasn't doing it consciously.
