shitposting rave 3: Dawn of the third rave

[Apostasia walks in. Surveys the space and the currently present people. Turns on her heel and instead chooses to sit down at a table in the periphery of Oneira's bar (appropriately sized for sitting down at it, too. Dream logic!). There is a tankard of enjex in her hand, but she's only pondering it. Deliberately not looking in the direction of Primus.]
There I go be productive for two weeks and this is what I return to. Hills...

 

*Grunts*

 

Infuriating, isn't it? [Onyx remains curled around her direct family, but can't quite bring herself to ignore another beastformer.]

 

(Apostasia half-turns in the huge dragonformer's (?) direction and squints. Some deep, long past part of her whispers recognition.)
'S just everything's happening so much, and I can't even fault my court for being slackers.
(She blinks. Looks at her tankard. Looks at the dragonformer curled around Primus and that four-horned mech. Looks at her tankard. It's still full. She can't possibly be that drunk already.)

[the tiniest snuggle is attempted]

 

[She allows the snuggle this time, pressing very faintly into the contact. If Primus isn't concerned about whatever this stranger is, she probably shouldn't be either.]

In the metal, little sister. Or the dreamstuff, rather, but that doesn't have quite the same idiomatic weight to it...

[She shakes her head.] I digress. I can't truthfully say I have much experience with courts, but it does seem like if one leaves a population to run themselves for more than the shortest amount of time everything goes to slag. What have yours managed this time?

You can do many things, but... this does not seem like something even you can do, even we can do. I do not mind being unhappy as long as nothing more goes off the rails. You are supposed to defeat me, not let me succeed at ending existence, brother.

Sombra closed a door on me today. I solidified while being stuck so I could pry it open. I am in a wonderful mood. *The sarcasm, oh the sarcasm*

 

Who said the goal is to let you end existence whenever you want? The goal is- the goal is to make things work smoother, work nicer, so we can work together to make sure things are created when they need to be and ended when they need to be- rather than fighting about it. I know things need to be destroyed! i know that now. I just want to make sure it's happening... right. That I'm not creating things just to spite you and you're not destroying them just to slag me off. So we both get what we need...

(Apostasia takes a deep gulp from her tankard.)
Nah, my own did good. The Courts are the big factions hereabouts. Court a Bones and their Judge especially started getting uppity. Encroaching on our territories. Now I've seen that happen before and so did Kynvakyrei, but Rillyeneth was getting prissy about it. And I'm gonna take the lady who keeps our orbit secure over an upstart, especially when the upstart is looking to expand Scelus into Kynvakyrei's territory.
(Apostasia empties the tankard.)
There is not enough booze in this world to deal with Kynvakyrei and Hills-and-Sky if you're not on the same scale of batshit overpowered.
