Spoiler Oh man, that was a sweet episode :D I will never get tired of alien rocks not quite understanding human culture and customs, and the ensuing shenanigans! Also, Peridot is a gem. I love that silly green goofball and her and Lapis' cute lil farm. And gems making jokes about the gem war! It was so sweet seeing all of them sitting together and having a great time, especially when you think back on how things used to be. I thought the conclusion was nice. To be honest, there were a few times where it looked to me like things will go really wrong and the episode would end on a more depressing note, but I thought it was handled nicely. Anyway, Pumpkin is a good dog, best friend! It was not what I expected from the episode, but yeah, it does seem eerily relevant right now. Knowing that there's Tumblr drama surrounding it, I was actually really confused and wondered if I watched the wrong episode or something. SU fandom is fucking bananas. It's not actually from the show as far as I know; it originated from a Tumblr post which just talked about "oh no not another Steven's knife episode" as if everybody already knew what it was talking about and the knife was already a well-known part of the show, and people found it funny and it got a lot of exposure and people just went with it and kept pretending like "Steven's knife" was a thing, and now it's a fandom in-joke I think :P I personally am a big fan of Steven's knife. Heh.
OH MY FUCKING GOD. They put it in on purpose, didn't they? This was a well and truly done Steven's Knife episode. Holy shit.
Okay I'm watching the episode and Spoiler "Andy, we heard you like marriage, so we thought how about we all marry each other?" I'm scared. I'm scared of what Andy is gonna do. I don't know if I wanna watch the rest of this.
Spoiler for personal, expanding on my emotional response a bit. Spoiler My family is not happy. They do not get along well. My parents have had fights that escalated to shouting over butter of all things. Don't even start with social issues. I haven't told them I'm bi. Only mom even knows about my gender issues and she doesn't understand. I was honestly anticipating a big fight between Greg and Andy, mostly because if anything remotely like this happened at my family's thanksgiving, there would've been one.
