Catching all 151, er, 368, er ... a lot: The Pokemon Infodump Party!

I use them mainly because they look totally badass x3 no kill like overkill

 

so at this point my party is basically a harem of two big bara pokemon (Incineroar and Snorlax) and a lady Hariyama, and their sexy fruit mistress

also a couple of birbs

 

Mine is Robin Hood (decidueye), fatty fatty 2x4 can't get through the kitchen door (snorlax), lizard titty (salazzle), fat ghost (gengar), mom issues (marowak) and mantis toddler (fomantis is pure grass type? Which doesn't make sense but I'll roll with it)

Fomantis is the last one I need to evolve and if it weren't for the fact I want lurantis I'd have dumped it by now

My team is heavy on the ghost types :I need to find some place to shove that greninja somewhere

I'm pretty tempted to do a fairytype monorun, but I want to keep using Rowlet and growlithe at least. They just keep throwing my fav fairies at me! Cottonee and carbink, and I'm liking cutiefly a lot.

i tried naming my torchic wejustdontknow.gif but there weren't enough character spaces :(

 

Names are 12 characters only, unfortunately. The name filter is also pretty strict AND stupid, where some pokemon can't (or couldn't? I don't know if they fixed this) be traded on the GTS due to their species name (Cofagrigus and at least one other).

Oh my god I love this game. I mean. I love all Pokémon games but this is So Good. Ah. Also am i a terrible person for catching Pokémon and giving people from the Aether Foundation data for cash even tho I'm now like. Over 50% sure that they are Bad Guys In Disguise(TM)??? I haven't been spoiled or anything but I've been getting Possibly Bad Vibes from them bc patterns. It's setting them up to look like the Good Guys(TM) on the surface but if you do a double take it screams that Things Aren't How They Appear.

Also Lusamine is totally Lilie's Terrible Mom who cares about Pokémon or her research or SOMETHING more than her own daughter. Like. She screams that. In general she's super condescending and awful and even tho she's super pretty I kind of want to scream in her face. If she is indeed Badguy McEvilface I have to say that having her as a villain is refreshing tho.

Side note: did anyone else see that theory on Tumblr going around about the ultra beasts And Lilie+Lusamine??? Bc I'm wondering more and more if it's true (if it is it's probably one of the weirder things that's happened in Pokémon, and makes me flash back to a certain cartoon mystery film from the 2000s)

TL;DR I love this game and it's possible that I'm gonna finish it in the week I have off for break.

The theory(if its the same one i saw) is basically that lillie is an ultra beast or that one was created based on her, because the first one you meet looks a weird amount like her. I dont remember the part for lusamine, but i think its basically the same but with ub beauty.

That's probably a similar theory to what I saw yeah. Personally I was wondering if Pokémon was gonna pull a Scooby Doo and the alien invaders, but survey currently says: most likely not. I am very curious to learn more about the ultra beasts tho. (Also lusamine is definitely pinging my villain radar w the whole "I must have this Pokémon" schtick)

 

i beat the game last night at 28 hours, and be warned: the ending cutscene has a pokemon battle, for a pokemon you probably want to catch, so be sure to stock up on balls before. also, the cutscene ITSELF is forty minutes long: food and drink are recommended. this also includes b-bashing. you also don't get to save at all once the cutscene starts.

amadeus -- lycanroc ( whom i didnt plan to have on my final team but... )
orpheus -- toxapex
saturn -- lurantis
mercury -- salandit ( MALE B( )

not sure if it's been discussed yet, but rn the pokebank update is looking to be in january, and you can't trade any mons over from XYORAS.
