Considering what was shown in the preview z move stuff that...doesn't seem all that surprising actually.

 

Meanwhile in cutscenes: the game, I'm only just now getting the z crystal from poni island

(Apparently speedruns of the ENTIRE game are 20 hours minimum because of cutscenes. I believe it)

 

i wasn't surprised, for me it was much more of 'OH MY GOD LET ME SAVE? WHY AREN'T YOU LETTING ME SAVE CUTSCENE WHYYY'

you do get a master ball way before, so if you dont want to risk it, you can just catch the thing.

the cutscene isnt like... beat the game, you save. haha no, that'd be too easy. your save before beating the thing is the only thing standing between you and forty minutes of non-skippable cutscenes.

I've probably spent ten hours between Pokemon refresh and being ADHD....like right now

I have to fight surfer hairband dugtrio and instead I'm playing clicker heroes

 

i had to hyperfocus bc if i dont complete a game as fast as possible, i get grumpy or forget about it.

im having to grind for after game battle #1 because none of my pokemon are super-effective against it.... nintendo why WHY WONT YOU LET US TRADE BETWEEN ORAS AND SUMO

 

Does anyone know how shiny chaining works for this game? The prior game/s were pretty forgiving with that mechanic but this one sort of reworked itself to be a different sort of game while keeping only the basic elements of Darwinism cockfighting.

 

What's the typing? I might have something closer you could borrow?

 

sorry for responding, again, but you can try ally chaining-- you can use an adrenaline orb once per battle, making the pokemon more likely to call for help, and false swipe is your friend. but, when it calls for help, you can defeat the help pokemon, and the next pokemon it calls for may or may not be the same. i dont know if you can faint the original and then make its buddy call for help

also, ghost. i do have my leo but he's... weak to it, too. i have him maxed out in pokemon refresh but so far he hasnt been taking the hit well. :c

@baskerville you could borrow either my decidueye or gengar? They're high 40s/low 50s (they're my main team though so it'd halt my progress for a bit)

Edit to add: my gengar has psychic and dark moves as well as ghost

I think ally chaining is the safest method that isn't just running around :< but thank u

 

Things I appreciate: decidueye being part ghost, because it means I can run away from any battle and escape safely when I don't wanna fight another Beatles group knockoff.
