Today I Learned

Today (well, actually a few days ago bc it was my Korean's friend's birthday) I learnt that I'm 23-years-old in Korea, because of how they work out ages. I'm only 21 using how I think most Western countries determine age (tho I do turn 22 soon). This is VERY WEIRD TO ME.

Today I learned that a dried and cleaned fox skull actually makes a really fun stim toy! (It's all clacky and it's got different smooth textures and it's a really neat object just to just play around with in your hands :D)

I bought him because he's missing nearly all of his braincase due to dying of car, so I wouldn't feel so guilty about pulling his teeth to make jewellery with :P I DEFINITELY need to get my hands on a whole one (skull) so I can just have it as a new toy XDD

 

TIL there is something called "the hairy ball theorem." It is less salacious than it sounds, but I'm going to take full advantage of the opportunity to tell people I was reading the hairy ball wikipedia page.

 

That is a great theorem. Thank you for reminding me of it. I'm not entirely sure that I'm surprised that Wikipedia redirects "hairy balls" to that.
