-Marchy shrieks in excitement and rolls up tightly to tumble over to the candy fast and grab at it-

Yeah it got bumped up because you kept offing yourselves faster than the fleet academy could churn out newbie officers and came down harder on everything cerulean and under who got too close to actual leadership positions after the whole Summoner thing.

[Whisper forgets himself long enough for an actual vocalized laugh, wings aflutter. So precious! He hands the box carefully to Polemarch, and points out a treat of each color in turn, text changing color to match:] yellow is bismuth-flavored, green is arsenic, blue copper, cyans are lead, the plain white ones are tin, orange ones are zinc, and pink is iron!

...er, humans probably shouldn't eat most of these, they'll get super sick and sad, so keep them among you and your mechanoid friends, okay?

 

*A large white cat pads its way into the rave. Its gait is awkward and very unfeline, as if it wasn't used to walking on all fours.*

 

-soundwave pounce over and sticks his nose in the box-

 

Mi? -a mi pounces up and sniffs-

 

*The Mi is rather roughly batted. Shoo.*

 

-Polemarch makes many victorious noises as he... rather indiscriminately grabs a bunch of candies at random and starts eating them without any kind of order, just stuffing his mouth full. At the pace he is going at it's... really no wonder that his first appearance was tummy-ache-unduced pout.-

Ford tosses the teal wiggler a bag of their own.

"Have you heard of brimstone? Same thing. Don't eat it," Ford warns.

If Ford were inclined to talk to Itches, which he is not... he'd tell her not to try and teach her grandpa to suck eggs. But he is very glad he's not her grandfather.

"Well, then perhaps it is best if you don't." Ford smiles. "Should you ever have a chance to meet my wife--which seems unlikely, at the moment, unfortunately--please don't try to discuss this with her. There are two reactions I can easily imagine her having; one will be upset and upsetting, and the other one will be loudly, defiantly rude. She's an alchemist, and she's going to make the Philosopher's Stone or die trying. I am hoping she will not die trying."

The mi struggles out and runs away a bit, then hisses loudly!

 

Ah, Essence. I know a guy who just grabbed some with a shovel and threw a continent across the galaxy. Fun times.
