Also his paranoia was interfering with his ability to be an effective leader. Random question, is the sky in Cybertron blue? Does it even have a sun?? I honestly can't remember.
They have a sun. Not sure about sky color when it's not the End Times, because it's been the End Times pretty consistently throughout basically the run.
So I don't quite have the energy to flail about this ship (but content is forthcoming once I move this series along a little, and I even accidentally foreshadowing), but consider: breakdown <3 knock out <3< windblade <3< starscream I forgot what a glorious drama queen knock out was, and I only got to write him for like two paragraphs, but I need more
...ok but that kind of makes me want windblade and breakdown as really unlikely buddies. Like, they are just surprisingly good friends who go out to movies or whatever! And complain to each other about stuff.
I left it out in the interest of not making the whole thing a giant tangle of quadrant symbols, but breakdown is going to be <3-flavored with starscream and windblade (mostly windblade), because knock out is The One, but awww, look at these bright red spitfires who poke knock out right in the vanity. Trufax, the fic itself is going to have knock out and starscream trying to out-brag/out-do/out-bang each other, kind of like... pitch-vying for windblade's pitch affections, but then they get completely distracted, and windblade and breakdown are both like '.........I apologize for him' and have sweeter fun together watching knock out and starscream. Gah, foursome dynamics are hard to lay out cleanly @_@ But the shape of the fic looks super cute in my mind, I just have to establish Windblade/Starscream/Wheeljack as a more solid thing before I write about them having fun outside the trine relationship
last night I dreamt I was writing a huge rant in this thread about how the live-action Transformers movies would be vastly improved if they just took out Generic Male Protagonist and had the love interests be the main characters instead. there was some side arguments about Alice and making some of the robots women as well, but the humans were the main point so now I think I ship Mikaela and Carly, good job brain. one's a mechanic who already lived through robot hell apocalypse, one has a car that's 'behaving oddly', they have a meet cute scene, Mikaela saves Carly from Decepticons, etc. there's not going to be a single fic for this, is there.

Yeah I just unfollowed. I'll see their art in reblogs. I really do not know what comic people are reading. I swear some people have watched animated then I don't know imposed some of that canon over top any other canon ever for transformers and only paid attention to things that fit into their view of decpections as the underdog freedom fighters from the evil autobots? Though I'm pretty sure Transformers Animated was more nusinced than that.
THE DECEPTICONS DID THE SAME THING, YOU ASSHOLE. DID YOU MISS THE DJD STUFF? THE DECEPTICON MTOs? OF COURSE YOU FUCKING DID. EDIT: Like, both sides literally created people who were meant to fight and unfortunately often die for a cause they weren't given the choice to support in the first place. Decepticon deserters, even those who had never chosen of their own free will to take the badge, were hunted down and murdered in cartoonishly gruesome ways. We dunno what happens to Autobot deserters. Worst case scenario, likely shot, but at least that ain't the DJD.
