Last night I had a dream I was at a school and one of the classes required me to put on a weird collar/harness thing that gave me cat ears, and I had to do that for 24 hours while I watched a flower. But then the teacher who could take it off disappeared with the flower, and I couldn't just take it off myself because ??? But then I started to like being this cat hybrid thing, and then it was the last day of school and I had been wearing it for 5 months, and it turns out that it was for some "animal inside" stuff. Meaning everyone who wore it became an animal unique to them and I was a cat inside. With that revelation I woke up and it's been on my mind all day because I kind of liked being like that. It's odd
i dreamed that after jill stein got a recount of votes in three states it turned out that a (non-existent) independent candidate had gotten so many electoral votes that neither hillary nor trump had the 270 votes they needed to become president. the dream did not go on long enough for me to find out who became president.
Had a dream about vampires? So in this dream, a bunch of vampires had died during the AIDS crisis of course, that was commonly known vampire history. And the vampire I was was... trying to sneak around an apartment building without getting noticed by the humans because he had to catch this one cat? So he ends up like, climbing up the building and stuff to get to this cat on the roof who may or may not be sick. Anyways, turns out that another vampire had moved in to the apartment building. Something about humans who specifically were around because they let vampires feed on them and also the progenitor vampires were super ugly and inhuman looking. I mean super ugly. But our protag vampire was going all night dealing with this cat and this other vampire and not eating, which was bad. Vampire boy might be getting sick, idk. So he ends up at this pool where a couple families and their children are hanging out and they're the vampire groupie people. Anyways, this really nice dad is just like "hey man, you should go to the blood orgy. I won't judge. But you really need to eat" and the vampire is like "no, I can't, she's there" about the other apartment vampire. So helpful dad starts walking this half delirious from hunger vampire out to go get him some nice blood and then the apartment vampire lady shows up again back at the apartment and she stole/whatever this important vampire relic stone thing and also broke down a wall in the apartment complex. Vampire lady leaves vampire protag to presumably die when the sun comes up and gets him because hahahaha, I have ruined the safety of your hideout and now you're gonna die I guess? And protag vampire's possibly dying wish to nice dad guy? "Please, find that one cat. I think she's sick. She needs someone to take care of her." Also: Why didn't the vampire just get blood from nice dad guy? Because I guess when you're the humans who willingly serve the vampires you have to make sure it's a vampire from the right clan who feeds on you or something so people don't get mad at each other? So the reason they went back to the apartment was because they had to look stuff up in the vampire year book. Which is also how I found out the progenitors are super ugly.
I dreamt I was browsing the Kintsugi forums and found that CDCF had developped a running joke of shipping Twilight Sparkle with Ponyfied Cronus Ampora (who was colored lime green for some reason). It was mostly Pony!Cronus hitting on her and then getting kicked into the distance, but there was also a variant where a few other ponies would encourage Twilight to hook up with him and all get kicked into the distance together.
Three words: Kintsugi video game. It was a side-scrolling RPG and the few things I remember are that the final boss is Seebs (stylized as SEeBS for some reason), who was presented as a rogue AI the main character needed to defeat, though some easily-missed parts of the game and a few statements by the creators imply that the main character is actually one of the bad guys. Oddly enough, I don't think it was in something like the Kintsugi In Space setting, but I'm not exactly sure.
I assumed the "Ee" was a word starting with those letters. But the only non-eel-related ones are "eek" and variants of "eerie", apparently.
I dreamt I was 12-14-ish and on a group trip to Quebec, where we were going to have arranged marriages set up to strengthen inter-provincial relationships. Somehow everyone on this trip was transmasc. I decided this was nonsense and ran off into the woods. Then I discovered I was a bear and set about happily eating a pig. idek what subconscious message I'm supposed to derive from this.
An extreme sport practiced in particularly windy weather: people would take off from a mountain with leaf-shaped (well, shaped in the form of the leaves of some "fictional" tropical tree, they were more like long teardrops) paper wings strapped to their arms (they made new ones for every flight), glide down to some lower body of water (in my case, the mouth of a river), make a water landing, ditch their wings and swim back to a rendezvous point.
I keep dreaming about being at the coast and seeing the sea rise up in permanent rippling waves like walls of water and there are always orcas and great whales in there if look long enough. Last night I was barefoot on a concrete cliff road with blue and white bollards between me and the ocean. Sometimes I'm swimming in it, but only ever in the shallows. the waves are always at the horizon, but the creatures are around me. It all seems terribly symbolic, just can't think of what. Maybe I just miss the sea when I'm away from it,which is true enough.,,
Dreamed about a kid who was I guess in a relationship with some aliens that shared a collective consciousness? That was weird. And one of the aliens had to be yelled at because no, humans can't do that thing you just did to show affection, stop trying to get me to do it.
