Also for reference: Unspoken has a funny definition of 'god,' basically a Spirit of sufficient power to cause a lasting impact on the whole [usually within its domain, but by crossing into the domain of another intentionally also counts] is a god. How strong of a god it is is another manner entirely. She's a Serious Business god because she and the others made the psyren and has complete control of her aspects within her area of the world (actually pretty nonstandard, but the other Capital-G-Gods gave them their own space because of the whole apotheosis-via-cannibalism thing), but a strong storm spirit who could fuck up weather patterns on a global scale would be a very weak lowercase-g-god.

Lil Soundwave is trying to make Fords name make Sense from a transformer POV. Transformers names usually have some fairly direct meaning like Soundwave the first is named for his ability related to sound. Therefore Soundwave is now wondering what a Stan is.

 

Alternately, some names are wordplay in "older languages" (that is, some canon TFs have very Latin-flavored/inspired names, see Censere, Ambulon, brothers Dominus and Minimus, etc etc and we have some worldbuilding in DT to handwave away why this happens when we also have Hook, Jazz, Hot Rod and so on). So, say, Congessi has a pun of a name that could mean either "thief" or "to compile/collect/organize" depending on whether it's read as a noun or a verb. "Stan" as non-translated Old Word is another option to confuse the smol :P

Senka when she's not a cat. Clothes don't go with a shift, and if they're in the way of parts they'll inhibit her from shifting so she greatly dislikes them.
