Yeah I finally bought High Priestess Tresses and it was 2T but fuck, that's an improvement over 5T.

I do collect hair that covers the human base ears because for some reason cat ears aren't coded to suppress them even when they move and are not hair accessories. Because I am a catte. But not a fucking bobblehead catte.

 

I admit that if bangs and related items were more affordable I'd probably start hoarding them because I like that additional variety element, but they're not. I usually do fine with the hair options I get from regular items though.

 

If you do see one you want, wishlist it and wait. I have frequently tried to sell things I paid a lot for in the hair department only to find they've deflated like crazy. I don't buy expensive hair any more unless I know I'll never sell it--the High Priestess hair is a specific lolita faux-historical style I have wanted for ages.

All of the 2015 Sailor Moon hair is so cheap now and I am selling a bunch I don't use, so let me know if you want any of those because I am only keeping a few.

I am really weeding my invo. There is so much stuff I bought because I liked the colours or the cat motif that I don't use because it's casual. Out it must go. On the other hand I just bought a bunch of long gold shop skirts because they layer under dresses that are split from here to Canada and for a PG13 site Gaia sure loves making female avis expose themselves.

But yeah I have one hairstyle item that I got for free off someone's "getting rid of crap" thread that I use occasionally (warm... triangular beat? It's a short ponytail) but otherwise I just live off the items I have.

Though I was recently reminded how much I love the long silver gogh reed hair I should see if there were ever any recolors of that... [looks up] just one black one it looks like.

...Maybe I should see about doing a ticket quest to get a bunch of gradients of that, I love that hair...

 

I am just gonna drop in here to complain about how few attractive goddamn lips there are on this site. Almost all of them are either a) positioned weirdly on the face or b) look terrible on darker avis :I

also the dreary sirens are back down to 1tril again and I'm over 250b \o/ or will be once my stuff all sells late at night as it usually does. Buying chirpette bundles in the morning when they're cheap and then reselling the ally plus packs later has been pretty good on my wallet. I only make a little over 1b a piece but having 18 on the MP right now adds up.

By my own calculations I was last active on Gaia Online in. 2005. Can that be right? Is it that old? Maybe I'm wrong. The only reason I think that year is right is I remember it as 'the website where someone basically asked me to cyber in a rp but little did they know I was 12'

(And yes I have reason to believe they weren't going for a 12 year old, I presented myself believably well as SLIGHTLY OLDER jailbait.)

And then I visited for a while in... jeeze... maybe 2008? 2009? And I remember it as 'the site where a friend and I played puzzle games and I played with outfits I could never afford, then quit because they started up an on-site MMO that you had to play to be up to date and I do not MMO, so, bye'

Just let me know when you have the gold, and...wait until you have at least a little bit more, so you're not entirely broke. And there was only one copy in her store so it may have been the last.

And pfft I don't mind going entirely broke, given that the 1T will be the most gold I've ever had... User Recolors are Hell and I'm glad most of the item sets I collect don't appeal to the casual-and-pastel oriented crowd that seems to do most of it.

 

I so don't get the mentality of wearing stuff on Gaia that you'd wear around the house! I have a very few things like that that I think are especially cute for sick days et cetera but mostly I want to be a pretty pretty princess.

 

Me either, but hey, means the items my fairy-and-mermaid-being ass wants are in lower demand, I'll take it.
