I know exactly how I'm going to die and it's by drowning during a dive, so, yeah.

    Oh that'd also be good.

I used to have lots of nightmares about tsunamis and dying during them. I stopped having them after a point. Like after I just kind of gave up trying to run away and just stood and stared at the wall of water and took it. I've had one or two this year and again I just kind of stood there and let it happen. Not even terrified of it really. At least not in the dying sense. But terrified awe at how big it was and how little I got it? Yeah that.

    COME FOR ME WAVES.

also apparently you can walk in this shit and i have yet to find anywhere to walk besides the pod

I am going to try those whales though. See if I can hitch a ride on free willy.

I....used to have nightmares about drowning as a kid, like specifically crashing off a bridge in a car and then the windows are open and the water comes in, but for some reason the seat belt won't come undone no matter how hard I try, and then I pass out and....well, die.
but then I got super chill with death and fell in love with all the creatures living in the ocean, and since we haven't explored it all, well.....I can't help but hope for a giant sea monster that will someday surface during a deep sea dive that I just HAPPEN to be on. and then it will eat me.

Being trapped in a car is one of the few ways drowning wigs me out. I think it's because I'm trapped by something that isn't of my own will and body. Or like another living thing. It's just a stupid fucking car and I am stuck there with this stupid fucking seat belt and I can't open the stupid fucking door because of stupid fucking physics.

idk, I'm kind of just over it. like. I feel a mild stir of panic at the thought and that's p much it....and like if I die, I die. so be it.

.....sorry :P I genuinely like the ocean, am not afraid of drowning, and I genuinely hope that there are super terrifying things in the Earth's ocean because....fuck yes?? give me all the terrifying monster creatures and let them eat me

I will say that cone snails terrify me though. Also sea urchins. The sea urchin fear is due to surfer lore about how they would basically fucking murder me to death like 10 times and I would be helpless to stop it. Cone snails were also a result of grand surfer lore, but at least that was accurate to their vile danger.

subnautica has four-legged sea spider like things as if i'm not scared of sea spiders enough as is. fuck the ocean. fuck you sandsharks. where is my goddamn battery charger.

if the kaiju from pacific rim end up existing in the ocean im nope-ing the fuck into space. where aliens can kill me biologically. i don't give a shit. the ocean won't get me.

my general opinion of shit is 'be careful, and if I die, I die, if it's horrible and unpleasant, oh well'.
so.....p much nothing scares me, unless it's a hallucination of a demon/ghost/etc because I have Weird Beliefs about those : )

I have a really super intense fear of heights, and it weirdly translates into the ocean. When it's super deep, and I know there's a bottom down there somewhere.
Whereas space is just. Infinite. There is no bottom, and height therefore is largely meaningless, and I get super zen and excited about it x33
If there were like. Sapient ocean aliens I'd be into that. Largely instinct-driven and very hungry giant beasts are not my friends.

    I
wouldn't call it strength so much as "I just don't give a fuck anymore"
but if you want it, sure!! I will give it to you

So I now have the seamoth and the thing that builds buildings. I don't have any way to power the buildings yet though so I can't get it oxygenated yet it seems. Fuck. I am using it as extra storage space though. I think the next time I explore I am going to stock up on batteries and powercells. And food and water type things.

I am really hype about the aquarium I can apparently build. Because that might make dealing with catching food a lot easier. Turning eating into a non-issue.

Also jesus christ piping is awkward?

(Oddly enough, while I love most oceans and seas and all that, there's something about most of the Atlantic that makes my brain go NOPE. It's big, yes, I don't usually mind that, but for some reason, it also feels empty. Because yes, I'm more than okay with creepy ocean creatures, I even think many of them are kinda cute, it's when they're NOT there that I get filled with dread.)
