i knewv far more pirates than id evwer havwe liked to and none of them talked like that.

 

I spent near two years in Cat's Claw. I don't know how many kinds of pirates it takes to find the "right kind" but we sure as fuck didn't. Did you know? In the Atleos islands it's heresy for men to take to sea. Even ships from elsewhere who surrender to an Atlean crew, they drown them rather than take them prisoner.

 

Maybe ya just didn't know the right kinda pirates.

"Sparktwin"'s a biologicial term for us that there's a bunch of other names for but basically two mechs born or forged at the same time that have some degree of mind entanglement. Some just get empathy shenanigans when they're real close some are telepathic at each other some feel each others' injuries or emotions... [he shrugs.] 'Cos of how our genetic whatever works you can technically have two kids come out of the same parents at the same time that aren't split-spark but frag if I know how either happens or why they come out different. A medic-- or slag li'l Soundy when he comes back maybe who knows what that kid gets into-- could tell ya more I been pretty much learning about it on the fly (;D) since my own bitlets came out twinned.
