Yeah, I have no idea what I'm doing with this battle competition.

Looking around, I think it might be fun to try a hail team centered around A-Ninetales and A-Sandslash (which I would need to trade for)

 

all i really know is that i want to use Silvally in some way. its most useful role seems to be a parting shot set, so I might use a darkinium-Z with Z-parting shot to be cheeky :P

 

Actually according to Bulbapedia, parting shot and memento won't work due to "a glitch." (Not actually a glitch)

 

UGH. It looks like the ninetales set that's competetively viable has egg moves AND requires its HA. I don't suppose anyone has HA A-Vulpix lying around that they'd be willing to breed? I'd chain for one myself, but I don't really have anyone set up for chaining (no smeargle or any other good mons for it).

Also my team thoughts as of rn are A-Ninetales, A-Sandslash, Zygarde Doge, A-Marowak, Araquanid, and someone else at the end. Maybe Specs Lucario or Chansey?

 

i was able to set up my smeargle for chaining pretty quickly using a guide. i think someone posted one here earlier? the one for:
false swipe
recycle
recover
icicle spear
with a leppa berry. it works pretty well! the only problem i had was the frickin rockruff with sand attack o|-<

and @tickingnectarine AW FRICK...i wanna use my shiny baby so badly, im getting them all gold bottle capped and everything :,| i hope they fix in it in time for the competition. if not i can just run a boltbeam set? thats what ive been using and its pretty good for grinding and whatnot

i dont have a particular theme with my pokes so far? want to use Silvally, Primarina, Metagross, Kommo-o, Lunala, and Kartana if I can. my other choices id wanna use are Arcanine, Flygon, and mmmmaybeeee Toxapex. ive heard that thing is absolutely filthy and idk how much of an asshole i wanna be lol
