First off, I love everyone in this thread, as I believe I have already said, but why do you think you get to hurt me think this, with Victor feelings. I have mentioned that it hurts me that I can't hold him, and I don't need to think about him being this sad and insecure, because he thinks Yuuri doesn't remember the moment they had together and doesn't really like him for who he is. I don't deserve this, but it really isn't your fault, because I think this is his actual character, trying desperately, sincerely hard to reach Yuuri under the surface but not being brave enough to get under the surface himself, and I'm going to need help in the form of footage of their actual wedding.

Which is canonically going to happen.

To act like a human being for a minute, I think all these people know each other to some degree? They all recognize each other at competitions, Yuuri was in intense skating practice with several of these people for five years--I doubt just about anyone but the young'uns like Yuri were meeting each other for the first time last year. Nope, Christophe has been awkwardly grabbing these asses for years now, and only gentle Yuuri who hides his freak until he's very drunk is still startled by it. Everyone else just lets him get naked. Bless.

The only extraordinary thing is that apparently it worked, despite yuuris best impression of shakira's hips don't lie

Now I can't pinpoint it, but it had to be episode one or two, because what I do remember is that it was surprising because it happened so soon after Victor moved and nothing seemed to have happened to provoke it. I haven't done much re-watching, because I literally think I would get too emotional. Here's a cap tho.

It's subtle and I think a lot of people didn't notice it--I didn't when I was watching, it was pointed out to me. But that's def a smol tear on sad Russian. We didn't have any context at the time so people who even noticed the small sad just said 'huh?' and sort of let that be an uneasy Thing that Happened. I mean, he had plenty of reasons to be sad after a sudden life transition but... why actually show it on-screen?

Because he thought Yuuri didn't remember him or didn't feel the way Victor assumed he felt, based on how he was acting once Victor actually got there, and he may have made a huge mistake based on a romantic misunderstanding if Yuuri had just been drunk and didn't actually want him there. Or was just copying Victor's routine in the video because it was a good routine, or to prove he could do it, not because he felt anything bout Victor. Fuck, what if Victor was wrong about all of this? I'd hug my dog and cry too :<

OHHHHHH. Yeah, at the time it came on the heels of Yuuri not letting him in to sleep with him! I figured it was the usual artistic shorthand that he was pouting childishly and cutely. I'm not sure I buy it in the context you're saying but I won't say it's not possible.

I think when Victor cries for really real, it'll be a lot less cutesy. Maybe. LOL IDK
