Is it ever at a pressure where it's solid?

 

In theory? I think? Remembering my chemistry - it would have to be under A LOT of pressure though. Possibly more than the core of our planet can exert.

 

Hydrogen is theoretically solid at the core of the gas giants.

 

Metallic, even.

 

Okay now I want to make an airship MADE OUT OF SOLID AIR

 

Due to the pressures involved, it might radiate enough heat to set you on fire.

Actually, I just looked it up. Solid oxygen is actually formed at incredibly cold temperatures, at around 53 Kelvin. That is almost -361 degrees Fahrenheit

 

So you wouldn't be on fire, in fact, the opposite
