Thank you! It's one of our more carefully cherished wedding gifts - I did some back-digging, and it looks like pieces of this set can still be purchased here, although it's p pricey since it's fine bone china. The tea, however, is from our local Meijer store, in the imported foods section :D
Is that red foil bag from a tea shop in Taos, NM by any chance? Boyfriend's mom goes to a tea store there that she loves, but she's not in Taos that often, so I associate the tea with being even more extra special.
I got This Stuff a bit ago, and its really great! But, my absolute favorite is MN N'ice tea! I always have a bag of that around. Today I moved all my tea things up to my room, so now all i have to do to get tea is fill my electric kettle and head back upstairs.
trader joe's mango black tea is my favorite fruity tea, but i prefer subtly-fruity teas over xtremely fruity ones.
@BunjyWunjy Seeing all your Tazo teas reminds me of how entertaining their descriptions are. e.g., the cucumber white tea: "Where do cucumbers go to unwind? A spa carved in the crevice of an iceberg, with blue cooling pools, white tea saunas and a swim-up bar lined with lime peel mugs filled with piping hot tea." Too bad you can't read them on the new Tazo site.
Blueberry and hibiscus are favorites for strong fruity flavors to go in tea. Sad tea story: I went by Peets today to get my favorite holiday tea, and they only had it in pouches. Was sad. This is why Peets should never have partnered with Mighty Leaf -- I don't know about anyone else, but I can always taste the plastic in Mighty Leaf pouches. So, I'm looking for recommendations of holiday spice black teas if anyone has favorites.
