i was trying to express that smol norm knowing about dicks is not necessarily 'cause of his tragic backstory

but assuming the worst does make sense, and the worst is entirely possible. but me trying to reference that adults sometimes had sex with each other when children were present was in an attempt to clarify that i wouldn't go too far with the backstory in the rave, basically.

But also, a whole family sharing a sleeping area has been the norm in many cultures for a very long time. The amount of private physical space the average person has in most of the developed world since the mid 20th century is unprecedented. For everyone in a family to have a room of their own, and for babies to have their own rooms, was a sign of significant wealth throughout most of history. The likelihood of seeing your parents in flagrante at some point during childhood was close to 100%.

 

That said, I didn't think of that in terms of "taboos". That was just a necessity. Lovers tend to prefer privacy and undoubtedly tried to do most of their fooling around when everyone else was asleep; but everyone knows that toddlers always wake up when you really don't want them to.

 

Onyx Prime is adorable with Bianca.

The robots she saw before were WT Fiddleford's. Ford doesn't remember it, but Bianca was in the Falls during WT's Weirdmageddon. And still is, when she's awake.

(Or maybe not. See below. I'm not sure they're the same animal. I don't think Ford can summon other creatures through the dimensions. But WT's thylacines run around in DreamTime so IDK.)

 

Onyx is canonically "perhaps too fond" of organic animals, and since we've yet to see a canon thylacine robot I'm pretending she hasn't met space thylacines either :P

 

Bianca was summoned to the Rave by Ford because nobody was taking care of @Teal Grub, and he knew that lusii are supposed to be white, so his brain supplied the leucistic thylacine he'd seen wandering about during Weirdmageddon as a template for Dreamspace!Bianca. :) that's why she's trying to feed the children.

 

(I'm still not sure whether WT!Bianca and SPR!Bianca are actually the same animal. Up there I said that they were, because they could be, but...I don't actually know.)
