Hm. If I'm remembering right - the Loremistress said that someone stole Agatha from them. Implied that she had no idea what the hell happened or how, just one day, Agatha was gone. Lu was also heavily pregnant when she turned up to the Geister retreat, and I think the Loremistress implied that Lu stayed for some time after Agatha was born in order to recover and regain her strength before going back out to deal with whatever had sent her fleeing before. And when she came back, Agatha was gone. So the "Lu dropped Agatha off and paid minimal attention and buggered off somewhere far away" theory does have a solid basis for it, at least. But you're right that there's holes and we don't have anywhere near enough info from anyone; if I'm remembering right, Punch and Judy said that Barry turned up with Agatha one day, and that she looked about three or four at the time. He stuck around till she was eight, heard her humming and saw her making things, and made the locket and put it on her, and then left shortly afterwards - and didn't come back very often or do great about staying in touch. I feel like it's probably not connected to Lu's true body. I vaguely recall mention of the signal itself being older than Lu and wildly different from anything she'd ever touched - that she was just hijacking something someone else had set up. If I'm remembering right, it got disassembled and evacuated with the Geisterdamen; I mostly suspect that because I vaguely recall a lot of speculation in the Agatha's Minions LJ community about whether the Geisters could be creating other Lu copies now that they were in hiding, back when that first happened. On more current topics - why does the Master have child-snaffling wagons?!? I mean - I know logically the 'why'; they're good for collecting truants and juvenile delinquents. But on the other hand: why does the Master have child-snaffling wagons that try to tempt kiddies with rice pudding and have the capacity to bathe the kids? Why this? Why do they look like ominous clowns?

I can see this being very useful for making Gkikas barlady updo, though I think I´d use something to pad the middle so I´d need less hair and have a lighter result.
My guess is that they are REAL Jaegers who are absolutely hype to be there. However everyone thinks they are fake jaegers. Possibly they are real jaegers wearing jaeger costumes. also, that pink-dress girl in panel 1 knows what she is about.
how are they choosing what cameos to use here? is a dartboard being used? because this is all fucking over the place, incredible
Bets on "her" being Lunevka? I mean, the other alternative I can think of is that it's either Tinka or Moxanna or some shit like that. The silhouette is reading as Clanky to me. But the most likely person to show up right here and right now and be heralded with excitement feels like "Princess Anevka" (that is, Lucrezia-in-Anevka). I'm not sure that Lunevka got out of Mechanicsburg before it got sealed off, though, so there's that as a concern...
...it's like... this is too obviously Lucrezia that I'm thinking... it can't possibly be her? What is going on Edit: omfg. Calling it now, it's fucking Zola
Shit, I forgot it might be Zola. You're right, it's probably frigging Zola. (The one bright point: no one's likely to buy that she's the Heterodyne, at this point? I assume? Agatha's claim is too heavily staked.)
Yeah, she more and more sounds like Zola, especially with the way Grandma Terebithia handles her. (With Terebithia hating Lucrezia but stealing her tech via Milvistle, I wonder if the Queen of Dawn ploy isn't specifically designed to be Anti-Lucrezia, even if she's using the same methods) On that note, with every panel she's in, I love Grandma Terebithia more.
