*Okay that's weird but he's not gonna think about it.* So, uh, how long have you been hanging around here? I must have missed you last time I was asleep.

 

Mmh, yes. Mostly because he treats me as if I were a person, which is incredibly rare, but he is also very aware of exactly what I am capable of. It took a very long time for me to run into a kind master, however, and I can only hope he will release me from service eventually.

Not that I would leave, he needs a keeper.

 

A while. Definitely more than a week.

That's great! Have you made any friends? I've got a couple, but none of 'em are around right now.

*He sits down, partly so he can concentrate on imagining things to properly take care of a baby with. Marcus might not be great with kids, but he didn't raise his sister and half his neighborhood to watch one be fumbled around like that.*

I can't do that. My master is whoever has last rubbed my lamp and they usually stop being my master after three wishes.

Yeah! You might feel bad later, tho. Maybe save it for the really nasty ones, encourage the others to make wishes quick and then leave you somewhere peaceful for a while. But it's an option!
