Tell me about yourself

I tried to learn asl in high school, but besides the alphabet the only word i can reliably remember is the word forgot.

 

My first job was working on a cemetery and honestly the best story about that is the time I mentioned it in one of my classes at college and a girl asked in full, frightened sincerity, "But wasn't it scary working around all the graves in the dark?!" because she thought cemetery workers were only allowed to be out at night so we didn't interrupt mourners in the day.

 

I high-five a lot of hand mannequins because I don't want to leave them hanging

 

I have a tremendous irrational fear that so much as grazing a car with a single atom of my body will set a car alarm off.

My lunchbox bumped a car in the parking lot this morning and it almost became an episode of Reasons My Kintsugijin Is Crying.

 

I give names to pretty much every important object that I own.

 

I once got my shoelace caught in the wheel of an atv! Which then caused the growth plate in that ankle to fracture, cuz the foot got twisted backwards.

I have a stuffed Shiba Inu and a stuffed Corgi named Billie Jean and Jimmy Dean

I collect plush throws and soft fuzzy blankets. I think I have like, eight or so now. Maybe more. (imagine)

I also own entirely too many plushies. Many of them I've owned since childhood, but I also keep acquiring more...

i am not an interesting person besides stuff i CAN'T do :v like, ive never learned to whistle
im not sure how many people have riden horses, though, so! i have done that! i've also never left the state, besides once when i was literally too young to remember it, so.

 

ever wondered how to say "please don't eat pandas!" in chinese? 请问别吃熊猫！wanna know how i know that? i was in chinese class and we were supposed to be talking about our plans for after class & my partner/friend didn't know how to say she was going to go eat panda express, so i raised my hand & i was like, "li laoshi, how do you say panda?" and she gives the whole class like a little mini lesson on the word for panda, and then just to make conversation she asked me why, and i was just like "oh well ashley wanted to eat-" and this poor tiny little asian lady's face just morphed into pure horror and i had to quickly be like "express!! panda express!!!" so li laoshi laughed & then she said please don't eat pandas.

also on a vacation in san fransisco w/ my parents i managed to fall halfway out of a cablecar and spend at least 30 seconds just dangling out of it before i realized something had gone wrong.
