I've set up on Adamantoise with an Elezen Archer! I picked Archer because it had cool demo job gear but so far it's pretty dull. I might have to sign on with the Conjurers or find the Thaumaturges or something. Get me in on something a touch more spectacular.
All the jobs are pretty boring in the beginning, honestly. Thaum would be a good choice, though, because you need to get archer to 15 for the upgrade, black mage, anyway.

So I just started playing again (new account), and I'm so pleased to see that the new race has some fucking hilarious hairstyles.
Oh my god, fuck Memeroon and FUCK triple triad. I love playing the game, but I hate having to repeat it 50 times and STILL have these damn assholes refuse to give me their rare cards. I just want my Memeroon card, god dammit. I'm sitting on 10 of each copy of the 1 star cards he drops. My only solace is my head of wonderful and fashionable hair.
Oh man. Just how rare IS that card, I was farming him for a while sitting in a dungeon queue once and nada. (Swift also refuses to cough up the goods. SOMEDAY SIR!!! SOMEDAY!!!)
Btw the fact that the pompadour wiggles is like. So great. I saw a lala with it once in a dungeon wearing the level 50 SMN horn so it stuck out the front a bit and it looked amazing. In other news I finally finished the GRINDIEST ANIMA STEP OF THEM ALL and I feel like I don't know what to do anymore. The quest for lore just friggin consumed me. I did get all my classes to 50 finally doing absurd amts of Palace of the Dead. It actually gives really nice exp and I'm terrified they're gonna nerf it because it's too useful. Time to get everything to 60 before Stormblood...and then...begin crafting. Q_Q
@Enzel you should join me in my 'get 36 of every luminous crystal' quest then. It'll fill the empty grind abyss left in your heart. I'll even do my tank class quests so that i dont fail at doing simple fates in Western Highlands. lol dont do it save yourself

You get tomes for doing PotD as a level 60 btw. A good amount of them too. (And money.) It goes up every floor set so if you do 1-50 you get like...a good 200 lore at least? And you can get a 235 weapon from it. (Eventually upgradeable to 255) Also if you see a hunt party in PF I'd recommend jumping in and just tagging along.
@Starcrossedsky yeah you're always welcome to poke me for potd or hunts. I'm part of two hunting groups/linkshells if you'd ever like to join my party whenever we do a full hunt rotation. We go pretty regularly, too.

The hat...is excellent. The weapon combo and how they attach together is p cool too! the other shirts have been more direct: Batman = Dark Knight. Scarlet Witch = Red Mage. so either he's getting more obscure with the references since people have been figuring them out so easily or we're getting something totally unexpected.
