"Oh, that makes sense." Ford nods. There is a part of him that rather envies the Gems. They don't need sleep, they don't need food and they never get old. He would get so much done! He might even be able to work on his pure research while dealing with all the problems he's taken on because he stopped wishing he was a hero and actually ended up becoming one. (Why did he do that? Oh, yes, because he is 'pale for the universe', as his troll girls say.)
