My dad got an Amazon Echo from my uncle. So far he's learnt how to make it play Status Quo and how to turn the volume to max. Problem is that when the volume is that loud, the Echo can't hear us. So the whole family has been screaming 'ALEXA NO! ALEXA STOP!' whilst Rocking All Over The World plays at full volume. Sorry neighbours.
Nice, that's what I got my brother! He was super excited too. I got two journals (a gratitude journal from mom, a lists journal from my sister), a donut recipe book, a socket wrench set and a flashlight from dad for my car, a t shirt and long sleeve shirt from mom, and a stocking full of candy.
Today I went to a massive indoor aviary, and there was a smaller enclosure where you could feed lorikeets. They climbed all over my sister and me, played with my shoelaces, and absolutely swarmed us when we held our hands out for the birdkeeper to give us the little containers of nectar. I'm the happiest I've ever been to be pooped on.
Roomie made absolutely delicious chicken and rice and onion as well as cake for dinner, I ate it cold so I could dive my face in it with getting hurt from heat.
For xmas my roommates got me literally the softest blanket I have ever felt (and it has dogs on it) and a pillow covered in sequins on one side. If you pet it one way, they're silver, but if you pet it the other way, they flip to rainbow!
I think I got my partner a really great gift, I think he will be really into it. I hope I'm right. Also we're getting married today.
