He might be aware of what Satan is. Other gods besides the Chinese and Buddhist ones exist in the setting. And the Earth as we know it does exist. There's still Christians in existence. Just their metaphysics aren't the ones that the world functions on. So like Tori and the others are aware of the Hindu cousins of the devata off to the south. Given that they work with humans too they're probably concerned with people converting into or away from the Sanjiao too.

Honestly my only dip into Sonic fandom was this tiny handwritten / illustrated fic I wrote when I was about 8 about Tails somehow misplacing his tails. I missed the whole Sonic OC thing and only know of it through fandom osmosis...
