Spoiler I can't help but notice Rose Quartz looks much more human-like than the other gems do. Since it was confirmed Rose Quartzes were PD's Gems, and also the whole human zoo thing, I'm pretty sure she was really fascinated by humans.
Spoiler: that will be all on youtube, i saw (but didn't actually watch) a video that posited that both of you from mr. greg paralleled/foreshadowed what's the use of feeling (blue) from that will be all and yeah... i think that video's right on the money. 'cause, like, both of those songs are about grieving and the conflicts involved in it and they both use blue and yellow for the characters that are the focus of each and have someone pink as the one that the blue and yellow characters are grieving. and that's really cool, with how it fits into the way greg and blue connected for a moment over their losses and how, as i've observed before about this set of eps, the diamonds are portrayed as people with feelings as real as everyone else's.
Given the new song information, I might modify Celestine's backstory to make her an... atmosformer? Like terraforming but air and weather and such.

The sea of bubbled rose quartzes being the most threatening, uncanny anime bubbles Aaaaaahhhhh Also, I'm happy, because my gemsona has been a Moss Agate since I decided Malachite was no longer a good idea for a very long time now. This is perfect because she basically has Holly Blue's body type, but is a goddamn mess and hunches over a lot, and instead of "an agate terrifies," she is herself terrified all the time, as an oops baby of gem-making runoff born with an instinctive terror of her own race that keeps her running forever through the outskirts of the populated universe outside of gem control Anyway Blue Diamond is just such a compelling character to me, I love her soft, intimidating voice and her nice obsessive personality going on, she could do just about anything at this point and I would be like 'yeah she was always weird what can we expect' AAaaaaannd I can't wait for Steven and the Gems to get back to find Connie Maheshewaran, naked sword born, standing in front of city hall and challenging anyone who approaches, because she was told to protect Beach City and she's goddamn going to
