HA HA HA i did it. ok @itsAlana here is what you do: download and install the java 7 jdk. (under the big header that says " Java SE Development Kit 7u79," agree to the terms and select your operating system and so on. install according to the helper thing.) change your JVM path to "/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_79.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java" leave the JVM path argument or whatever (the second field) blank now it should work, barring other errors!
You should be able to use a JRE rather than a JDK. On OS X, you're looking for a directory of Java Stuff which has a "bin" directory containing "java". On Windows, it would be similar, but "java.exe".
OS X java directories are weird and complicated! There are two of them, there is apple java as a separate thing from regular java, possibly, and then.. I'm gonna stick with this for now : P (after a couple hours of messing around, it finally occurred to me to google the problem and the name of the mod)
The A&K Kintsugi Rail Line is (more or less) complete! At Central Station, you can take the West, Southwest, or Northeast line. Central Station serves Tsinioiv (@Socratease?), @ElasticPoodle, and @seebs. Stations on the West Line: @seebs -> @vegacoyote -> @Hobo -> @littlepinkbeast. Stations on the Southwest Line: Magic Town (@Vast Derp), @Elaienar, and Water Town (@Vast Derp). (@Key is yet to be added.) The Northeast Line stops at @jacktrash's farm, and then splits into the East Line and the North Line. Stations on the North Line: MichealRein (@lvkz?), @Astrodynamicist, and @siveambrai. ... it just occurred to me that the portal network might sort of make the trains less useful, and that would suck because the train net is awesome.
heh, it's all good. a good handful of us will end up/have already ended up with flying things (jetpacks, blood magic flying sigils), but i think there will remain people who like to ride the rails. i don't think a portal system would necessarily render the rails obsolete. also, Kathy's really far away, and if we could figure out a way to get to her without having to make several dozen stacks of rails, that'd be awesome...

Proposal: I don't think we'll have 256 players very soon. So how about, for ender chests, we have a table of prefixes: Seebs: magenta/magenta Server: black/black avalon_117: green/blue littlepinkbeast: pink/pink something_blue: blue/blue I know Luka said something but I forgot it. The idea is, you get the 16 combos starting with your prefix for Your Stuff. Yes, this contradicts the current setup of the server boxes, we'll fix those Some Time Soon.
I think Luka said red/orange/yellow...? I request red/white. :) edit: @Avalon currently has a black/black/black chest set up on a timer as a server trash can. it currently emits a pulse every five minutes which will delete a few items from the chest. he is going to test a comparator system which, hopefully, would reset the timer each time an item is added.
I have set up a "Mark of the falling tower" ritual. It will generate large amounts of ore for a substantial cost of LP. We have already used it once, and split the spoils between those on-server at the time. would people mind if the next one I summoned was filled with diamonds, emeralds, amber, cinnabar and certus? or do you think that would be too easy?
seebs, we've already got blue/blue/blue as server food and red/red/red as server mail, and i had proposed white/white/white as server shared inventory dump. let's just reserve those. i would like to claim green/white for my prefix.
@Kaylotta I have a small cottage around 452, -245 you can hook up to the rail line. Only request is if possible have the line attach in the woods somewhere. You can flatten the area around the house and/or cut down trees as needed because I was going to do it a bit anyway. I just want to leave the plains in front clear for some animals pens and crops.
