Paz goes rigid, her hand suspended in the air near her mouth, and freezes.

Cinnamon growls, then noofs Paz. She doesn't know what to do. The pizza in Paz's hand is dripping onto her leg.

Cinnamon noofs Paz some more, and whimpers.

Even stealing a bite of the pizza Paz is holding doesn't get her attention. What can she do?

 

Paz drops the pizza and her arms go over her head, her elbows pressed into her ears. She wants to run. She wants to hit something. She wants to sink into the dark.

 

-A mi has noticed Paz is acting odd and pounces over.- Mi? -it asks Cinnamon-
