oh, a fanartist i follow drew some of the cast as d&d characters! i'm not sure i agree with all the choices but it's rad. ..... but then i guess who they would be in a d&d AU is different than who they would be in a "playing d&d" AU. :P

@kmoss vlasdygoth's lovelace is so distractingly attractive and lovelace in general is distractingly attractive. help. she's so scary OH HEY this d&d thing reminded me about the dragon age AU sarah and i were talking about. there are a bunch of ways you could take this AU but this one has PURPLE HAWKE EIFFEL because eiffel would be a perfect purple!hawke (except that hawke somehow manages to end up as the champion) and kirkwall is almost enough of a disaster to parallel the hephaestus. minkowski's immigrant probs and general demeanor match hilariously well onto aveline. hilbert is The Shittiest Anders, except that anders' role as "dude possessed by a spirit" goes to hera, who is a woman possessed by (and ... mostly presenting as?) some kind of spirit. it's.. a spirit of liberty or resilience or something, not sure bc boiling characters down to single virtues is hard. :P (they find lovelace in the deep roads and no one is quite sure how she's still alive after being missing for so long. What's Up With That?) (under the spoiler cut is What's Up With That, indirect but severe spoilers for the most recent season finale) Spoiler: boléro! isabel lovelace is dead. the person they know is a spirit of justice/vengeance that pulled a Cole and took on her form from the memories of her left in the fade, and then forgot it wasn't her. kepler is a fucking terrifying templar commander and jacobi and maxwell are the scary-ass mages who work for him. >:D (jacobi could maybe be a regular templar, but explosions! and maxwell being an expert in spirits works well with hera's whole deal.)
