Fave fruit(s): pomegranate, starfruit, boysenberries Least fave: kiwis and most melons (allergic), red delicious apples (gross and mealy)
See I like guacamole, but the texture of raw avocado by itself actually has one of the most disgusting mouthfeels ever.
That is because most people use corn syrup and not enough pecans. I make pecan pie using twice the amount of pecans in the recipe, pure real maple syrup, real butter, the whole foods gluten free pie crust which is amazing, a little pepper in with the cinnamon and other pie type spices, and a shot or two of Jack Daniels in the filling. Everyone loves it.
Favourite fruits: strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, watermelon. Yuck fruits: Pineapple (I drank 11 pineapple daiquiris when I was 16 and got super sick but couldn't make myself throw up). Papaya, which I thought was watermelon when I tried to eat it. Blueberries from the supermarket (fresh organic ones are ok but not my fave, supermarket blues are tasteless and gross-feeling in the mouth).
You can make some yourself, if you're at all culinary-ly inclined. (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/peanut-sauce-51149020)
ihad dried dragon fruit when i was younger nd it was bitter and almost crunchy and had too many seeds, what is it supposed to taste like? my fave is fresh or frozen berries, least fave is banana in general but god help you if you try tog get me to eat red delicious apples. they should be made extinct they are a Mistake i don't like apples but i can force them down, and on occasion i like apple juice or cider. love cinnamon applesauce if it isn't chunky
I´ve only had fresh. It´s very sweet, not a strong flavour but nice. It err, tastes like dragon fruit. Very juicy.
A chocolate-covered ant. I didn't have the nerve to chew it, though, so maybe that doesn't count, in which case the weirdest thing I've eaten is probably sea urchin.
Box mac and cheese with vanilla protein powder mixed in, along with nutmeg, cinnamon, and paprika. Or the orange creamsicle dessert hummus. Probably one of those.
Fave and least fave fruits are blackberries and papaya, although pineapples are a big fave as well. I think the weirdest thing ive eaten is squid, im a bit boring like that.
Least favourite fruit: I am incapable of eating bananas. It's the texture. Sry bananas. I will eat all the banana bread and banana milkshakes you can shove at me but raw banana is just ew no. Favourite fruit: *Dried* pineapple specifically has the BEST TEXTURE OF ALL TIME. Flavourwise iunno for either one, maybe fav raspberries and least fav kiwi? As for weirdest food, I'm not sure whether other people would count gator tail or cow tongue or the time my cousins and I put chocolate sauce on pepperoni pizza. It was surprisingly okay. Um. Bologna and peanut butter on crackers? Sometimes with chili on top? I feel like individual foods I have eaten are less bizarre than the ways I've shoved perfectly common foods together.
I've eaten rattlesnake and shark, cow's tongue, i love poultry liver (cow liver is too tough for my preference) if there are black ants on my counter i will eat them to assert my dominance
I HATE BANANAS SO MUCH I FORGOT THEY EXIST WHOOPS i edit my previous answer: bananas are my least favorite fruit. the texture is death, the flavor, in anything, varies from meh to suuuper gross. i didnt like smoothies for a long time just because i couldn't get a smoothie without banana in it and the flavor just ruins an otherwise perfectly good smoothie. strawberries are another favorite fruit tho; they taste so fuckin good fresh or storebought. without sugar it's a pleasant tart and with sugar its like, yes, perfect sweet refreshing food. too bad they go bad so quick tho, i rarely have the spoons to fruit so i mostly stick to apples and grapes, which keep a long time and have next to no prep for eating
another favorite fruit: grapefruit, in-season only. SO GOOD. SO DELISH. just chop it in half and go to town.
oh while i'm thinking about food I remembered that my flavor preferences make mexican (or well, texmex) like the least appealing food foods i dislike the flavor of: almost all beans, avocado, peppers ..yeah. im also not super fond of traditional taco type meat. (edit: oh i also dislike raw tomato and salsa. fuck me up texmex) peppers, especially bell peppers and red peppers, are like, the worst thing though. i hate the flavor, it's just vastly unappealing and ruins the taste of a dish for me, and i'm moderately sensitive to heat, so anything beyond a mild/medium is not only painful, the pain completely masks my ability to taste food. so like, when someone adds peppers or pepper flakes to a food they're adding bad flavor and pain, and possibly the inability to taste the food. basically it's a terrible idea overall and people need to stop adding peppers to food.
