How to indicate dirty/clean dishes when you room with other 20somethings.

 

We actually have a piece of paper that says dirty on one side and clean on the other that we stick to the machine. Yours is funnier though. Is that dry erase, does that work?

 

We used to have that, along with a set of cards that indicate whose turn it was to unload, but we're lazy and dry erase works on this dishwasher. It leaves a little residue when erased but that comes off with spray cleaner. Ours has a brushed steel finish, which is why it works.

Actually up until last week we just wrote dirty and clean on it and put a magnet on whatever was applicable, but my roommate and I got into kind of a contest to see who could be funnier.

 

a reading for my class has "the alluring body of the male ruler" in the title and that's making me think that the author of it wants to fuck the male ruler

Memes on Kintsugi seem to arise as a reaction to anger and/or absurdity. A catch-all thread, being already welcoming of most topics, isn't likely to instigate the kind of infectious "we need to joke about this" that the more arguey or drama threads tend to have.

Is there anything else that fuels memes?

 

i saw this on my tumblr dash and i kinda want to delete my account now. this is the worst thing ive ever seen. im done with tumblr.

 

I mean if people couldn't recognize him when he was color-swapped, he could certainly put on different clothes than usual and a different name and a goatee and become famous in two identities at once.
