Bad news: I just got rear-ended in traffic on the way to the gym.

Good news: I'm okay. Car's okay. No damage, just a few paint marks.

I might have to sit here and shake for a little while before I can drive, though.

Bad News: Due to sickness, I didn't set my alarm, was woken up by a call from my boss at 6:06 because I was suppose to start a shift at 6. This is actually a fireable offense.

Good News: I didn't get fired! :D also it is my birthday.

Bad: possibly made myself sick by not having enough protein lately

Good: excuse to buy two footlong subs of my fave when it's on sale so I'll have fridge leftovers to scrounge in the next day or two

Bad: my pcp leaves the place I meet her at, the end of this year, and I get my ssri through her

Good: I just refilled today, and have two more refills on the script. Hopefully that'll be enough time to find someone actually based in this state

Bad: tomorrow is going to be stupid busy at work

Good: the state requires unpaid break after five hours, so we keep hiring people to try to keep everyone's hours per day below that, and the more hands available the less stressful rushes are

bad news: i'm not graduating from college this semester like i thought i would due to brain problems

good news: if i manage to pass all of my other classes (which is...probable? i have to check), i'm on track to graduate this coming spring, and this gives me more time to figure out what the fuck i'm going to do with my degree, b/c let's face it there is no way i would have been ready to attempt to job-hunt in fucking january. also might finally be getting a psychological eval! which...costs money but i'm looking into if my insurance will pay for it (or at least pay for most of it).

bad news: my brain didn't start getting tired until maybe ten minutes ago and since i sleep like the dead i probably shouldn't go to sleep unless i want to be late to work for the third day in a row.

good news: i have green tea that's infused(?) with matcha that i am going to drink in the morning, and also maybe i can actually make some headway on cleaning my apartment+i have already made some headway on the xmas wish lists for my grandma and my mom.

Bad news: Water started leaking through our ceiling, underneath the cupboard where the washing machine and tumble drier live.
Good news: BF managed to pull the washing machine out of the cupboard and fix it (we think)
Bad news: After pulling the newly washed clothes out of the machine to put in the tumble drier, BF discovered that several items have been dyed light pink / lilac. Despite there being nothing in the machine that could have leaked colour.
Good news: Several white items of clothing that were in that same wash came out as white as they went in. Which is good, but wtf?

good news: someone else offered to do the appointment-setting-up so theoretically one less phone thing to do if he remembers

missoyashirou Someone please give me a tiny dog to play with

Positives: new insurance means I can finally see a doctor about the chronic cough + on and off depressive episodes + constant intestinal pain and constipation + myriad of other medical issues I have been dealing with since 2015. So far I have a Gastro appointment for the beginning of February (that deals with diverticulis and IBS, so hopefully I can get on a proper medication regimen or find out how to go about surgery to remove diverticuloids), a psych evaluation for ADHD and depression next week with a good chance of going back on Lexapro, and trying to make an appointment with an internist and an OBGYN.

Negatives: I am probably going to spend 200 dollars in the next two months between visits, medication, and referrals. Also, the closest OBGYN who's a woman and will still be on my plan in February is like an hour away.
I don't want to see a male OBGYN again after the last one suggested I get 'stretchers' to deal with my vaginismus and didn't even complete the exam. Particually since I have since found out there's medication proper for it instead of a set of effectively graduated dildos to shove in there. I'm sure many are going to be more reasonable and treat me less like a burden, but goddamn does "Shove these tubes into your genital hole, yeah it's going to hurt but it will make it open so do it, also you need to spend like 50 bucks out of pocket for it" poison that well.

Good news: pain workaround get! As long as I don't bend at the waist the pain is only vaguely there.
Bad news: I kiiiind of need to bend at the waist to get out of bed. Yknow, for work. Or the bathroom. Or real food instead of the random chocolate next to the bed.

    Edit-
    Good news: I'm not dying!!
Bad news: Nothing much to do but palliative care and waaaait. Blurh. Work is gonna be fun.

Good: A job listed on Craigslist at a book-affiliated place I've shopped at before, where I could learn to rebind books!

Bad: No detailed listing of job responsibilities, just
    Good???: Full time!!
Bad???: What if I have to leave my current job to stay sane?
Good???: What if I have an excuse to leave a physically exhausting job for one with advancement possibilities and touches on things I'm interested in?

Bad: Application wants the date of getting/leaving previous jobs. My records have the months and years, not the numbered date.

    Good:
    Precious fine print loophole.

I would say to not worry about exact dates, I think this is a case of poor wording by whoever wrote that. I have always given approximations by month and year and it's never been a problem, and I can't imagine why it would be a problem.

    Good luck!!

It's so uncomfortable leaving blanks in forms, though. I've thought it over, and I have the last date of my last two jobs, I just don't know the exact starting dates, though I know within a week for both of them.

Admire this though, this is in the current employer section:
    current_employer.jpg

The other employment sections have end dates, so it's not that they completely copied and pasted the same section for each of them. So what's the Reason for leaving bit? It's a current job, I'm not in the process of leaving it. Is it bait to see who's thoughtless enough to say "I hate this place lol" ...?

    ETA WAIT

    I just reread the ad.

I could send them a copy of my resume instead.

Revising my resume to include my current job, and writing a cover letter, might be better anyway. I can include my library job on the resume.

Bad News: Decided not to go to Muay Thai tonight out of pure laziness even though it's good for me, and was now regretting it

Good News: I am actually REGRETTING not doing the exercise, instead of just feeling relief at having an excuse to not do it!

Even Better News: And my friend just invited me to an outing after work today so because I'm not going to Muay Thai I was able to say yes :D
