Tried submitting this to /r/CrappyDesign on Reddit, post immediately got deleted, I got an automatic mod message that amounted to "You're a relatively new account, check the rules", but that post didn't break any. :/

Whenever I see a post that uses the format "REBLOG IF YOU ARE (adjectove/identity), SUPPORT (adjective/identity) OR (conpletely unrelated weird action)" it makes me slightly happy, because my friend posted the original that got super weirdly viral (because he's really funny)

It was originally something like "reblog if you are gay, support gays, or unleash dozens of geese into peoples rooms at night"

 

... i wonder how it feels to be the originator of a meme.

 

The father of the kid in the Success Kid meme used to be a tattoo artist (he survived cancer so I don't think he is any more) and he has the picture used for the meme tattooed on him. He's pretty chill about it.

 

A friend of his was the OP of a few popular posts and the impression i got was that it was annoying to have a bazillion notes on a post and people just memeing at you all unoriginally

I think he might have mentioned how he feels about seeing that post's descendants out in the wild but i forget what he said

 

I had a friend who had the unfortunate ability to consistently create memes (remember ridiculously photogenic guy? yeah that was them) so they were deleting and remaking every ~5 months or so to kick their follower account to the curb and rescue their activity.
