Aargh poor Yang why do they do this to you. She is the awesome older sister of the main character. Whatever the opposite of petty is, that's Yang. She's outgoing, brave, driven, and optimistic. She tends towards supportive of her loved ones more than protective, because she respects their needs, abilities, and autonomy. In a fight she's one of those regrettably rare female brawlers. She could totally kick your ass.

Final piece of anecdata, because I think/hope the conversation has officially Ceased, but the person who's been asking questions about transformers smut actually predates valve/spike xeno altogether. They said that they were used to wireplay being the only xeno in the mix, and that valve/spike xeno was just starting to emerge as they drifted away from the fandom scene (and now I'm curious about when in the timeline plug and play emerged as the third main xeno flavor). So I don't have a good handle on the dates for those sorts of fan culture shifts, but I'm betting they were around for the geocities era, maybe the early-early ff.net stuff.
so i don't know if this counts as a gripe necessarily but i am like 90% sure that this one author is uh. artificially inflating their kudos count??? like HALF A DOZEN of their stories appeared on the front page of TF fics sorted by kudos out of nowhere, their work is extremely mediocre, and 1700 OUT OF THEIR 1750ish KUDOS ARE FROM GUESTS........
That is extremely mediocre. And all of their fics seem to clear that rough numeric mark. Is that in violation of the ao3 terms of service? Because this is CHEATING and I'm going to report them :P
