Shitposting Rave OOC

I'm getting a bit anxious about the preemptive apologies and disclaimers in ooc lately. At least three in the last two pages. Not that you guys shouldn't give them, because I figure you're giving them for your own comforts. But that I hope there won't be hard feelings for those of us who don't give them.

more like 'THIS CHARACTER IS AWFUL AND IM HAVING A BLAST'

 

Mine are more a sop to my own anxiety than an actual apology. I'm pretty sure that ic =/= ooc is something people get but saying something soothes my brain.

 

Oh jeez no, not a thing of including people or asking for anyone's reasoning.

More a thing of, because of reasons outside the rave I'm currently Paranoid about social signals that are made up as people go along. And wanting to say hey guys, please, do not think I'm mad at you if I'm not specially doing the signal. Or that anyone else is.

 

Whoops, yeah, I was kidding about "obligatory." I also strongly agree they shouldn't be necessary, I'm just 2anxiety4this lol

Yeah. I constantly worry that my characters' actions will offend people because of history

But yeah, I was like. People are doing the joke sorry not sorry thing, I get that. And some are saying sorry to bodyblock their brainbugs off the field, I get that too.

I love how Nick is calling the stuff Wrench has as doo-dads even though he is a freaking robot.

 

Pretty soon after her surgery she got contacted & eventually smuggled out by some activist types!

Then she rationalized her panic response into decided that they weren't actually accomplishing anything, "borrowed" some money and ran away to a seedy mining station/city to be a private eye. Reed Makes Good Choices

 

How'd Dr. Glass justify that stuff? Why don't people in that setting just clone body parts? We're getting pretty close to that tech level for things like eyes.
