OH. I was super confused because I actually had a zebra in the paddock with my cows. So that was the status quo for me haha
@jacktrash That's cool, I was going to need zebras at some point anyway since I've taken up the horse duties. Just need a white horse to start my t3/4 collection! Finding zebras in the pen was most confusing.

Hello friends I would love to know what armour everyone is using! I'm still stuck with regular boring iron/gold/whatever I find, I'd like to make something that won't have to be rebuilt every 5 minutes or whatever.
I've been using thaumium fortress with a ton of enchants including Repair, and carrying an amber wand to keep it powered. I believe there's also some armors that can be charged up with RF and then use the charge instead of durability, but I'm not as well up on that side of things.
same here, except that my set was made by seebs and is therefore imbued with LOVE. also i have a couple runic shielding rings.
I am using the Dark Steel armor set (enderIO), which is very upgradeable. Doesn't quite take NO durability damage fully upgraded, but it's about 95% taken by energy. Can recharge itself (slowly) in sunlight, too. Only I'm not using their normal chest piece, I'm using the Dark Soularium Jetplate, which is the enderio side of the Simply Jetpacks mod. (They also have one for Thermal Expansion, etc.) Also have an angel ring for creative-type flight, which is better in some ways and worse in others, and a raven cloak to accelerate that flight, and rings, and amulets...
Btw I did a new enderman farm that works, but it's in The End so not quite as impressive. It's nearby the exit portal. It's just a tiny thing that has walls you can drop onto aggroed endermen using a lever that'll slowly damage them while also keeping them from hitting you. Turn it off before they die, equip sword with looting, bam. Much more simple than the overworld one, and this one actually works in practice, so yeah.

Same here. Looks like it's an everyone-in-Minecraft thing and not just a me thing. The grammar of that error statement is bothering me more than anything else. It's twisting my language centers around to try and make "authentication" a plural noun. (Apparently the error is supposed to say "authentication servers" but they accidentally a word.)
Java 8 (aka 1.8) is not apparently reliably workable with Minecraft, especially modded minecraft, I am told. And yes, Mojang's servers have been down most of the last eight hours because WHAT IS TECHNOLOGY HOW DO WE RUN A SERVER.
i managed to keep playing by just not logging out, all on my lonesome, for ever and ever, until just now when i crashed it by trying to look up a recipe. now i am in the same boat as everyone. the boat called Authentication Are Down.
i want to fight the ender dragon. we should figure out how to cheat it back into existence without resetting the End (cause hobo's ender farm) for those of us who didn't bum rush the mofo when shit was going down edit: i also sabu'd the Wither through a coffee table for the first time today. it cried. i was like "neener^2"
they don't want me to cherish my shiny new nether star and division sigil. the assholes! (weird: i used to find division sigils all the time in shipwreck chests when we had the ruins mod. )
Yeah, part of that is that the inclusion of harvestcraft crap in chests massively reduced the frequency of everything else. HungerOverhaul's fault.
@Vast Derp It's not a big deal, as long as I get a bit of warning I can take the thing down really easily (it's like 4x4x5 or so) and rebuild, it's simple enough. Normally I'd say resetting without me taking it down would be fine but my iron and redstone stores are ridiculously low so yeah... it probably wouldn't be great for me. I don't know how I'm going to survive without my hit of minecraft :( Single player just isn't the same! Oh and also I did some more exploring and I am starting to be convinced that white horses do not exist, the jerks. Only horses I came across that weren't enemy bat horses were the ones Kathy had a lot of, the greybrown spotted ones. Need more horses. I've already got the essences of darkness necessary to make my own bathorse once I get a zorse.
