You're supposed to bake the flour to get rid of pathogens.

 

To bake the flour for 5 minutes! I'm not sure why the flour needs to be baked. I thought eggs were the main problem.

 

Flour still has bacteria and stuff in it.

 

Don't most things?

 

This intrigued me enough to do some cursory googling, since nothing in my experience has led me to believe there are flour-borne pathogens to worry about compared to any other ingredient (it's too dry to be particularly bacteria-friendly I thought), and it looks like most results that mention it at all simply come down to "toasted flour tastes better".

what is the purpose of kintsugi's Follow User function

 

Afaict its so you can comment on some peoples' statuses b/c you can set it so only peeps who follow you can do that. I dunno if it does anything else

 

It also makes their icons appear in the online users box, which is great for me since I recognize images faster than usernames.

Eta I used it to follow people who are in WT since that made it easy to tell when they were on and possibly going to roleplay. Haven't made much use of it past that.

 

I use it to tell when people who I especially like to read the things they say are on, and who like to say a lot of such things, and if they are on they are thus likely to be making such posts actively for me to look forward to.

 

some dude came to my dorm to give my roommate a giant stuffed bear while she was out so i was like 'sure ill grab this stuffed animal and relay your name whatever' and my roommate just got home and she barely knows this dude apparently???? like, omg, what the heck, is my life a sitcom now, that's the most awkward thing one could possibly do.
