pokemon go launched their valentines day event today! it lass until feb 15 and carries the bonuses of the halloween event + copious pink pokemon popping up everywhere!

eta: also! lure modules apparently last 6 hours

 

caught my very first shiny and it's a RATICATE.
I've named her Eggplant

 

My first shiny Pokémon (not in Go) was a red Gyarados. The one that everyone in SoulSilver encountered.

I am. Very excited about this update, it sounds really huge. In addition to the new pokemon they're also adding new berries that double candy yield and slow a pokemon down, respectively. They're also adding the male and female symbols to all pokemon, which will be amusing for the old 'mons that are nicknamed and is also exciting in its own right bc maybe breeding??? AND they're adding new methods of encountering pokemon and more customization options for pokemon- who knows what thats going to look like but i really cant wait to see. I desperately hope it'll be something that'll help rural players.

I thought that they were adding Johto to Sun/Moon and I was so fucking pumped.

Imagine my disappointment when I realized the truth.

 

I always thought every game had all the pokemon that had been created up until that point, is that not true? I've never played any of the regular games.
