PORTULA PALE PITCH FLUSHED I LOVE IT ALl i dont have any art for it bc what the Fck is art even but STILL
Also I'm way into Feferi/Jade, Rose/Kanaya, Rose/Terezi and Terezi/Nepeta as long as we're talking Homestuck ships.
Harley/Ivy has been a fav of mine since before I even fully realised that I shipped it or what shipping even is. I love them I want them to be happy together forever.
I would like to rec Nishi Uko's stuff. Her two main things are Collectors and Tonari No Robot. The first is mostly fluff and is about women who buy too much stuff and have adorable, embarrassing arguments in front of their long-suffering friends. The second is about an artificial intelligence shaped like a teenage girl and the human shaped like a teenage girl who loves her and has some implied angst beneath the fluff and sci-fi musings.
If anyone plays visual novels, I just finished Flowers -Le volume sur printemps- recently and would highly recommend it! It's a yuri (but not 18+) VN about a shy girl starting at an all-girls Catholic boarding school. She has lots of anxiety and is very very gay, but she makes new friends and opens up to people and there is slow gentle romance. It is very delightful and sweet and I found the main character extremely relatable.
eponine/cosette from les mis is such a good ship, they really need to hug and be friends. they have so much in common but they also have a lot of complementary differences. really good ship eta: i guess its pretty abusive in the canon but fluffy eponine where they've made their peace w each other is my happy place
In the vein (vain? I think it's vein) of manga discussions, Girl Friends by Morinaga Milk is the best GL manga I've ever read. It was so important to tiny baby me because it was basically exactly how Bird and I got together but in manga form. I hope I'm not the only one that's read it!
I could see it working! Like tiny!Eponine was pretty horrible to tiny!Cosette because her parents were telling her that's how she should be acting, but by the time we see them again after the timeskip, Eponine's decided that's not the kind of person she wants to be and ends up rebelling against her parents.
