She thinks for a moment and a tankard of ale appears in her hand. A tentative sip then a proper taste.

"Dreamworld beer is always the best."

 

"Of course it is! It's just as good as you imagine it to be!" He lets out another loud laugh as he let himself fall backwards onto the ground, staring upwards as he laid on his back.

Bill pauses and stops petting the very tall animal, unsure if he was harming it by mistake.

 

(Aurora, as usual, trails snow and auroras behind her. She looks at the cats. There is a glint in her eye and her teeth that screams "hungry predator". Her feathercloak glitters.)

"I don't know if his dimension is nicer, but he definitely is. I met these two on a dreamwalk." Valiska grins at Jame. "Aren't they adorable?" She thinks for a moment. "During the Weirdmageddon event, a kid said I looked like a Vulcan. Of course I was glamoured a little, but apparently the ears point even if I make them look less furry."

"Please do not attempt to eat Senka. She's a person and a friend of mine. Also, do not try to eat any of the thylacines or the mis or the kittens. They won't let you, and neither will I. You can manifest your own food here."

Valiska glances at the pool. She liked that pool.

The Kool-Aid is gone. "Sorry you don't like pools, Bill, because I do. But how about the shallow end, where there are places you can sit?"

 

Aren't you an insistent meowbeast. Who's got sharp teeth? You do!
(Senka gets scritched.)

(Did it just get colder? Yes it just got colder. There is, in fact, a bitingly cold wind blowing from behind Aurora, manifested through her psionics. She is still smiling.)
Oh, I wouldn't dream of eating someone else's pets... unprovoked.
Although I am terribly sorry to hear your senses have dulled to the point where you seem to have missed that I deemed this here purrbeast to be a bit too big for a midday snack.

Valiska rolls her eyes at Aurora. "I just wanted to be sure," she says. "And to make sure you knew."
