(Aurora is not surprised by the nip, only by the fact that no blood was drawn.)

The less fortunate get eaten by those who ground themselves better, or those that just plain got lucky.
There was a song about this, but I am not quite drunk enough to start singing it.

(Then she starts laughing at Dualscar and Norm. An alien and a fish, arguing. High comedy.)

 

Lizards are greasy. Of course, so are snakes, but I like snakes. Especially venomous ones.

I ate a big bitey bug the wrong way once when I was a kit. It bit my tongue and I couldn't spit it out so I had to keep eating it.

My sibling laughed at me.

 

-nods knowingly-

 

"You're welcome to stop by sometime to check it out! Who knows- you might make a friend or two while you're there!"
He stares over at the pool with an anxious expression, slowly slipping out of his Ford's sweater to cautiously approach the pool and stare into the water.

He will save more pettings for later, just in case.

 

Valiska giggles. "I'm sorry, but I probably would have too."

"You don't have to, of course." Valiska switches back to her minimal Sirenisse party outfit and sits on the ledge in the shallow end of the pool. He doesn't have to get in to talk to her, though.

She calls over to Senka. "Found any more babies? You made the Imperator very happy."

 

-sticks her tongue out. It totally doesn't have a very tiny scar-

 

Fickle as any cat, Senka abandons Aurora now to go splash around in the pool. Because it's dream magic, she thinks loudly at Vali instead of shifting to talk.

"Not yet. I'm looking though!"

 

After a little more deliberation he just steps down into the pool, fully clothed, and sits down on the ledge as well. "... I don't think I'm doing this right."

 

"When I was a kit," Valiska says. "I certainly wouldn't now. Not when I'm having my own in the spring!"

Valiska grins at Senka.

"Well, most people either get into pools and tubs naked, or they wear little shorts." She smiles at him. "Ford wears more than that. But you know Ford, he won't take his clothes off except when he's with his intimates."

 

[Now that the rave is (hopefully) slightly less cat infested, Wrench edges back in. He stays on the far side of the pools from @Feed Me Pet Me though. None of that nonsense today.]

 

He wandered over to the pool wearing his coat, glasses, boots and belt. And nothing else underneath but a red speedo, "You were saying?"

 

*laughs* You're really not.

 

-Kablooey must have fucked off woken up at some point. She's back and wearing clothes again. They're a different set of color-clashing eye-searing neon-punk. Her roots have new colors too-

 

"I can relate to that." He stares down at his shirt briefly before looking over at...

At... At Ford. For a good 5 minutes in silence. He can't look away.

"I'll figure it out at some point!"

 

[Sleepily, from the middle of the cuddlepile still:] frag doin' it "right," jus' figure out how works best f'you.

 

"You bet I will!" He grins over at Venture briefly before his gaze lingers inevitably back towards Ford.

 

Of course he notices Bill staring and has a smug look-though really he was screaming internally, maybe he was a little self-consious. But he sat on the edge of the pool beside Bill, and looking to see if the water was still Kool-aid flavored, "Greetings, Bill-!"

 

"... Hey." He manages to say, his face flushing pink as he continued to stare up at the other man, fidgeting a bit.

 

The flush on Bill's face wasn't lost on him. So he decided to slide off that coat. He was still wearing the damn belts and boots though which just looked hilariously awkward.

 

I think you two need to get a room.
