    This is where the whole atheist sceptic who believes in nothing thing comes in but isn't it definitionally difficult to be cursed if you want it? I'd call it an enchantment then. Curse does not refer solely to a class of effects but whether or not you wish for these to be what happens to you as far as I understood it.
