Yeah, don't worry, even if neopets did another inactive user sweep (which they haven't done in years, likely because the site keeps changing hands), the account has to have been inactive for at least two years before being put on the chopping block.

oh man, i've always loved the halloween uni, and i'm kind of fond of mutant pteri [my heart belongs to mutant acara forever]. friend request sent tho ngl i account hop from place to place all the time so the oldest account i'm holding is like 11-12 years old, and i have a couple UC pets [darigan usul and maraquan hissi], but VL and noiivas are my active ones...i should really spruce the others up tbh.
@Carnivore yup that's me!! it's a very long story but basically i started over near the end of 2015, intended to get hold of the lab ray so i could start zapping pound pets to set them free for new homes, realized the economy was totally fucked and there's no way i'm ever gonna get my hands on the rest of the pieces (and also Instantly got attached to my first round of keysmash pound rescues), and promptly disappeared for awhile :P (also oh man oh man if we're talking favorite pets basically every darigan color is Fantastic and i love it but darigan gelerts especially are SO GOOD)
I kind of want a Darigan Aisha [the UC ones look dumb ngl...but the converted ones oh man]. Like my top fav pet/color combos [in no particular order] are darigan aisha, mutant acara, desert cybunny, shadow draik [+1], Halloween Hissi [crosspainted with zombie for another +1] and plushie kougra. and I can afford to get a darigan pet at this very moment!! but like. Do I want to abandon my random lab zaps for that?
I am so mad because I changed my password on my oldest account to something really long and bizarre and intricate (and wrote it on a post-it note, which I then promptly lost) this was ~8 years ago. I've tried 2 probable old emails for the "forgot my password" and nothing! I wouldn't be so mad if I didn't have my lupe with a snowbunny on that account.
Ugh, I love UC Darigan Aishas. I had a regular one, but that account got iced many years ago. Same with my baby Lupe :/ I have no idea what things are like rn economy wise. How much do lab pieces usually go for these days? I've got a couple pieces in my sdb.
Uhhhh iirc the most expensive is 500k average, but people try and say its 700k the rest are under the 99,999 shop "gallery" price and can be bought there, average is either 50k or 99500 [not in between] cheapest is just shy of 12k
