Also, has anyone else been getting a glitch with Sombra where your translocator doesn't work? I'll set it down somewhere out of the way, run off, and when I try and teleport back, it just sends me into the blur animation deal, and I'm still where I was and not where I left my dealie. It only happens with stuff I've left behind a few seconds back, and not stuff I just threw up onto a ledge of something. It's really obnoxious!

Hey, so some interesting stuff is happening on the Overwatch lore front!

 

I wonder if, if she's not a new hero, her invention might be?

 

It'd be really cool to get another omnic and it'd be even cooler if it was an explicitly female omnic.

 

I'd say it's highly likely there will be a new character soon; ending one competitive season seems to be the time they do it.

Yesterday I managed to get gold elims as Mercy. With two. I think I was the only person on the entire team who could kill anything. I can carry a bit but not that much, guys.

 

Got 9 elims as Mercy one round today. I got stuck behind the enemy trying to get away from a Roadhog, ended up doing a sweet flank where I killed their Junkrat, their Mercy as she rezzed, their Junkrat again, and then popped the D.va out of her suit. A good day. I hope I made that D.va real mad. I popped her at least twice 1 v 1.

 

I know most people here relate to Mercy Woes, but does anyone else play Reinhardt? I've been trying him out, and I kinda hate it, because it's almost exactly what I wanna be for a team, but the team won't let me be it, yunno? I just. I wanna facilitate people's good times. I wanna bodyguard healers and DPS, I like playing Reinhardt, I do! I just hate how helpless I am to make people let me help them. I see a Mercy, 76, Hanzo, Widow, and Mccree, and I think, oh, these people need a mobile wall!! I can do that!! And then they just don't use me??? They run out in front of me when I'm trying to bait Roadhog hooks, they don't shoot the Bastion while his eyes are on me, they don't kill the people I've Earthshattered. I could understand if the Hanzo and Widow were to take high ground, but they didn't do that, just sat on the ground and didn't let me shield them. I hate it. I saved a Widow from getting killed by a Mei when she was frozen, why doesn't she trust me enough to follow me? I'm trying my best to be a good Rein, and it sucks and I hate it.

 

I don't play Rein cos I'm absolute shit at using his hammer, but you better believe my squishy ass will sit behind a shield if you give me one while I'm 76 or a healer. Cover is love, cover is life. Sucks your teammates haven't been using it :c

 

Thiiiiis. I mostly play Lúcio and a Rein that plays like that is a blessing, especially if we're doing well and I get to speed boost.

 

Yeah, in most groups I'd pay to have a Rein like you.

One thing I've noticed with too many Reins is that they don't remember that people are relying on their shield and if they suddenly decide to drop it to Charge or Fire Strike, suddenly the healer may be exposed to a serious amount of fire.

Biggest annoying thing, though, is Reins that are too aggressive, using Charge to shoot off into the distance as they try to 1v4 a group of enemies. Especially LOVE when they then spam the Need Healing button. Dude, there are so many enemies over there that I won't even get close enough to heal you, I'll have died.
