Refractor of Vos currently has ties with Captain Nichrome (relationship status unclear), Captain Swiftwing, Neuropsychiatrist Aurora (trine) and Representative Congessi (conjunx flavored courtship).
Through Congessi he has ties with Jetski slash Pedals of Lake Depolito (amica?), who is Captain Life Support's current romantic partner. The tie to Cap/CMO LS is strengthened via Captains Nichrome and Swiftwing (relationship status unclear, presumably friends with benefits). Through Life Support he has a social tie with Cloudcrusher (amica?) and triangulating from those two to Triage as well (relationship status unclear, seems to be a courtship).
Through the dance training and you he is obviously involved with Burlesque who has been confirmed as acting amorously with representative Flux in public. Flux is registered amica endurae with Chief Engineer Silverweave, who recently faced ship court due to several unlawful behaviors. Notes on the case suggest a certain fondness and lenience from Captain Nichrome, which would make it reasonable to assume Refractor is at least on conversational terms with the individual. Flux remains a badge-carrying Decepticon, while Silverweave is a Neutral Cybertronian, though relationships and mannerisms suggest he is a deserted Decepticon. Silverweave seems to be involved in a courtship with Representative Iridium who has recently taken help from a member of the decepticon delegation to assist her in some office work. There is also several badge-wearing Decepticons in communications who I am fairly sure are currently working on ingratiating you and your brother to them.
The only conclusion I can come to is that in fact Flux and Refractor are parts of a far reaching conspiracy to secure the votes of a majority of the ship for the inevitable Decepticon coup.

No no, see Cloudcrusher is probably going to be fine, he's pretty capable in combat and fills a necessary position on board so he wouldn't get executed, plus I'm fairly sure the cons involved in this aren't that stupid, it won't be an all out guns drawn coup, they'll just slowly subvert the power structures on board, pull some strings, ask for favors, until they control every vote.

 

So they can... control a mission to conduct diplomacy with organics, when the official decepticon party line is that organics have to be wiped out?

I could see them aiming to deliberately sabotage the whole thing, try and provoke the organics into declaring war, then wiping them out would become necessary y'see.

I am concerned that our leader answered for the crimes of our entire faction, including those he wasn't conscious for due to infighting. I am concerned that Decepticons have been punished for things Autobots did as well, yet Prime walks free and even, I hear, continues the annexation of that rotten little mudball he fought so hard to keep out of the war. I am concerned with hypocrisy, with the fact that not a single one of the bastards on the council can be trusted to have our best interests at heart, that Primus-damned Starscream is the closest thing to an advocate we have, that I'm supposed to trust the spawns of glitches that still wear the badges of Senatorial Enforcement. But yes, do keep telling me how an Autobot victory is better for everyone.
