I will eat pretty much any salad if it's balanced properly. no clashing flavors!
(Greek is probably my favorite, though. unless wings count as a salad.)

I would be very worried if my salad sprouted wings.

Greek salad is the best and I miss it. What a wonderful combo of flavors and textures. So good in a pita with lamb or chicken.

The biggest problems with sprouts are A) not fresh sprouts and B) bad preparation. Yes, they are cruciferous veggies so they can have a pretty strong flavor that isn't to everyone's taste, but I think more people would like them if they could get them fresh and have them prepared skillfully.

Spinach is great for lots of things, although I'm not too fond of eating it raw; it has a weird texture on my teeth and leaves a strange aftertaste. Cooked is better.

Have we done the classic "cilantro is tasty!"/"cilantro taste like soap!" battle yet?

pasta salads are my favorite kind of salad, unless someone has drowned them in mayo. gross.

my favorite toppings for regular salads are grilled chicken and shredded carrots, and i love a bit of kale and/or shredded cabbage in it for the bitter taste -v-

I don't think we have, but, like. is there a point in having that battle, since it's a genetic thing? aside from collecting statistics, I mean. (I think cilantro is tasty.)

Hmmm.... I don't know! I think I heard about the genetic aspect but totally forgot. I am interested in statistics, though....

For the record, I think it kind of tastes like, well, a tasty soap. Like the kind you smell and almost want to take a bite out of.

I do like cilantro (though it... tastes like soap to me) but too much overwhelms me pretty quickly.

greek salad with no tomatoes or raw onion. aka, Green Crunch with Feta

every now and then I get a craving for dairy queen's crispy chicken salad/abomination, it's the only thing that makes ranch dressing seem appealing and sometimes you just gotta go all up where your heart is at

cilantro tastes like lawn clippings stuck to the underside of a log and I resent its presence in so many otherwise delicious food items

cilantro is like, okay in tiny, tiny quantities, but it is one of those food that makes it hard to enjoy the rest of the food when it's put on it

    THIS EXACTLY

I can handle it in small amounts if it's cooked, but any quantity of fresh is right out. unfortunately... indian food? 25% chance of cilantro. mexican food? 50% chance of cilantro. vietnamese food? 75% chance of cilantro. admittedly this is based on north american restaurant experiences, but that's what I've got to work with.

Oh man, that reminds me of this one dish the pub on campus sold. It was basically nachos, but made on waffle fries instead of chips. Extra delicious.
