It is UNNACEPTABLE that this forum is several days old and doesn't have a drawing thread yet!! ;) Everything is welcome here - ellaborate finished pieces, doodles, works in progress, critique requests, artists on all skill levels. I'll start with some of my favorite commission watercolors, which tend to be done in a tighter style than my personal work. I'm trying to shift gradually to a work with more color depth, as exemplified by the first piece which is more recent than the other 2, and maybe I'd like to rely less on lineart in the future.

oooh oh oh oh i'm gonna talk about the project i'm obsessed with *claps excitedly* i'm pretty attached to my Dragon Age characters these days, and also spent a lot of time on dollmakers when i was at my fiancé's, so i decided to do a mock dress up game with my children. Made each of them a base, planned a couple of outfits, props and hairs, noticed i had started in a teeny tiny canvas and had to scrap those. Now i'm working at a 1800x3??? canvas, depending on how tall they are, and it's much better. Tons of work, but a great time sink; i do a bit of each depending on my mood, so there's very few clothes actually done except for the first two i drew in the tiny canvas. My Warden from Origins, Liesyn Surana, my beloved baby child, queen of everything, Arcane Warrior of my heart. There's so much fic i want to write for her, but alas, im not really that good. still have to draw her staff, magic sword and shield, Warden Commander heavy armor, and holding a rose. and her dog. Spoiler Lis in what I like to call "Iggy Azalea's Fancy playing in the distance": Reaper's Vestments. I was so fucking proud of how it turned out the first time (you can see it tiny), and now i'll have to do eeeverything again ): Warden uniform: i need to clean up those edges. My Hawke from DA2, Garnet: She's the one i've started most recently, so there's not much besides the blocked basics, and i've started painting her face. Spoiler The hairstyles i have for her atm. Short hair from the beginning of the game, and the longer, assymetrical one i headcanon for the end; it's all chopped because her girlfriend says she's cute with long hair, but she keeps getting bits of it cut/burnt off during battle because it's hawke, hawke cant set foot outside without someone trying to kill them. i have no idea what i'm going to do for her props besides her staff and daggers, since i've played her as a mage and as a rogue. and i'm really procrastinating on her because having to draw TWO DIFFERENT ARMORS OF THE CHAMPION plus the Fugitive's Mantle is going to kill me. slowly. My Inquisitor from DAI, Idrilla Lavellan. She's the one giving me most trouble when i ignore DA2's armors, because i've decided to give ger curly/wavy hair, and the Dalish have a visual identity that's a pain in the ass. Although it's still better than Tevinter's Tetsuya Nomuraesque belt-crazy fashion. or DA2 armor. Spoiler The only outfit I have for her that's mostly finished, i just need to find a way to turn the grey bodysuit into chainmail, add a couple belts and shade some details. Loose unstyled frizzy hair and a Skyhold outfit redesign that feels rather hobbit-esque to me: Braid, and one of my attempts at Dalish-ifying the official inquisitor armor, with blatantly copy-paste'd leather leg things. Canon hairstyle and a take on her Dalish Mage everyday wear at her clan. I still need to do a couple of staffs (staves?), the Anchor on her hand, and her wearing her love interest's furry cape because i am shipping trash. there's also a comparison pic, because i think it's hilarious how small the other two are compared to Hawke.
